Just imagine 3 Michaels moonwalking backwards towards you with flames brewing in they hands. The whole idea of this was so cool it was pretty much independent of Michael, it was just cool even if you'd somehow never heard of Michael Jackson.
You can see Michael was involved with the creative process of the game because there's all sorts of weird shit going on. I played this game with my sister once and we had a blast. It's actually lots of fun and not super hard like many arcade games that are basically made to devour coins. I guess MJ didn't want kids to spend too much of their pocket money on it.

Finally played this last week. Such a sick game. I only ever had the Genesis game and never knew about the arcade version. Having played both now I still prefer the Genesis game but the animations in this are phenomenal given the time. Also. MJ didn't do it. He was killed because he owned 30% of the industry he was in. He pissed alot of people off and who ever did this to him just made 2 billion dollars and will continue to profit off all the things he owned.

This game was innovative for me because of the 3 player mode. I played a lot 2P games at that time like Bad Dudes and Double Dragon, 4P games like the landmark TMNT and Vendetta, but never a 3P game. A difficult game as they are supposed to be, good call by Michael.

I remember going to the store with my mother and seen this arcade game. I loved playing this game. My mom and dad could not afford no type of video game system for me so every chance i got to play this it would make my day or any game at that, but this was my most memorable one. I feel so embarrassed but i felt like i was the only kid in America that didn't even had an Atari system. My first game system that I started with was a super Nintendo Mario with Yoshi. I think my mother end up getting tired of me begging her to take me to places that had an arcade, plus I was making such good grades that I must of made her feel guilty of some sort. My dad didn't give a fuck if I had one or not. All he did was drink, smoke and argue. Never notice that I was a good kid working as hard as I could. All I use to do it's think about video games that I couldn't afford to play. I laugh at myself so hard now thinking about how I must of been the only kid in America to have a game system so late. Lol! I'm sorry for boring anyone that read this rant but I needed to share. Now I have so many game systems for my kids and nephews to play with that I dont know which one to start with. I relate to your story so much. I never had a video game growing up and my father didn't care, my mom couldn't afford one. I used to go to school and hang around kids who talked about their video game experiences and all the fun games they played. I LOVED listening to them. It excited my imagination even though I felt like I was missing out. An uncle of mine later bought me a Sega back in 2010 but the Playstation had been out for years and Sega was old news. I still appreciated it though and played the heck out of it. Fun times. Be good brother

I remember going to the store with my mother and seen this arcade game. I loved playing this game. My mom and dad could not afford no type of video game system for me so every chance i got to play this it would make my day or any game at that, but this was my most memorable one. I feel so embarrassed but i felt like i was the only kid in America that didn't even had an Atari system. My first game system that I started with was a super Nintendo Mario with Yoshi. I think my mother end up getting tired of me begging her to take me to places that had an arcade, plus I was making such good grades that I must of made her feel guilty of some sort. My dad didn't give a fuck if I had one or not. All he did was drink, smoke and argue. Never notice that I was a good kid working as hard as I could. All I use to do it's think about video games that I couldn't afford to play. I laugh at myself so hard now thinking about how I must of been the only kid in America to have a game system so late. Lol! I'm sorry for boring anyone that read this rant but I needed to share. Now I have so many game systems for my kids and nephews to play with that I dont know which one to start with. Life is crazy, it just made me appreciate things more. I promised myself to never put my children through that bullshit and yes I know it's not the most important thing in life but it make kids laugh and have fun, gives them something to relate to others kids. I wish anyone out there the best life ever.
I relate to your story so much. I never had a video game growing up and my father didn't care, my mom couldn't afford one. I used to go to school and hang around kids who talked about their video game experiences and all the fun games they played. I LOVED listening to them. It excited my imagination even though I felt like I was missing out. An uncle of mine later bought me a Sega back in 2010 but the Playstation had been out for years and Sega was old news. I still appreciated it though and played the heck out of it. Fun times. Be good brother
