so amazing, even without the costumes! i love the part where another pair were twizzling while Tessa and Scott were resting, and then BAM! They just cut in and did amazing lifts. :D

It just came to me after watching hours of Scott and Tessa…the reason why Scott is so exceptional is that he has the grace and physique of Gene Kelly. Fred Astaire was more slight and agile. Gene Kelly brought the more masculine and muscular dancing to the equation. I have not seen that in another dance pairs team. The guys are usually more slender. We swoon over Scott because he brings masculinity, grace, athleticism and romance to the programs. You can’t develop that combination, some of that he was just born with. Also an inner showmanship. I watch other couples and wonder what is missing, and it is this. Paired with Tessa’s beauty, grace, femininity, and super athleticism, we see a partnership that we may never see surpassed.

you're right, she's Tessa playing Jo Stockton from Funny Face. I don't recall Tessa ever claiming anything otherwise.
