1.The Second Revelation + Story of
    Waraqah ibn Nawfil
    Second Revelation
In Bukhari, Jabir ibn Abdillah continues the story and mentions the Prophet PBUH stopped getting revelation. Ibn Abbas says the Prophet PBUH would wander Makkah and its valleys wanting to see Jibril AS again. A riwayat from Ibn Abbas says 40 days. Ibn Shihab al-Zuhri said, "This period lasted for many days, for around a month [40 days]." Thus for an entire month and 10 days the Prophet PBUH was confused. And this is when he says, "I was worried for myself" - meaning, he thought he was hallucinating. And he would go to the Mountain of Hira expecting to see Jibril again, but everyday he would go and there's nothing there. Until finally one day the Prophet PBUH was coming down the mountain and he heard his name being called. He looked in front and behind and couldn't see anyone. Then the Prophet PBUH said, "I looked up and there was the angel I had seen at Hira, (sitting) on a throne between the heavens and the earth." Then the Prophet PBUH began to tremble out of fear - So he rushes home again saying, "Cover me, cover me," and this was when the second revelation was revealed: the first 7 verses of Surah al-Muddaththir.
What is the wisdom of these 30~40 days that the Prophet PBUH was not inspired?
    - 1) Is to prepare him for the second reunion
    - To make him recover and recollect energies and make him feel enthused.
    - Indeed the Prophet PBUH was coming to the mountain everyday to try to meet Jibril.
    - But despite this preparation he still became terrified when he saw him.
    - All of this shows us the humanity of the Prophet PBUH.
    - This surely isn't something a fraud, a charlatan, a two-faced liar would do - if someone wanted to claim to be a prophet, the stories that are invented are all grandiose - they always put themselves to be the hero.
    - But look at the story of the Prophet PBUH - we find a human reaction and one that is sincere.
Relevance of these particular verses in the second revelation
    - The revelation occurred in the house of Khadija RA.
    - Prophet PBUH back to the house and when he is covered up,
    - "O you who is wrapped up in a garment" (74.1)
    - and the symbolism here is, "O you who are living in comfort and ease, stop this life of ease, stand up, be active, leave this sheltered life, and go out and warn the people."
    - "While you are doing this warning, praise and glorify your Lord." (74.2)
    - "Make sure your garments are clean” (74.3)
    - (1) in a literal sense: make sure you don't have any najasa on your clothes and have a presentable appearance; and
    - (2) make sure you have no sins to pollute you, make sure you have a pure soul and a good heart.
    - And, "As for idols, get rid of them and leave them."
    - "Don't remind people of the favors that you've done"
    - meaning, when you do good, don't do it to get the favors back from people or be repayed back.
    - when somebody does something purely for the sake of Allah, nobody can challenge that person's intention
    - but when somebody has other intentions then it tarnishes that person's reputation.
    - The Prophet PBUH was not allowed to take charity or zakat
    - "Tell the people: I am not getting your payment" [42:23] nor "your wealth" [11:29] (in return for conveying the message of Islam).
    - "For the sake of your Lord, be patient." (74.7)
    - This shows that there WILL be calamities and troubles - but be patient.
    ______________
    The 7 Means of Revelation
Wahy (وحي) or inspiration is a direct communication from Allah to mankind. Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned that the Prophet PBUH was inspired by 7 different means/methods/ways:

Alleikum salam, yes it's true there are prophets who dint even have a single human who believed in the message given..
A good example is also the story of Prophet Nuh (PBUH).... Imagine he preached for 950 yrs yet only managed to get 8 (yet others say 80) people who believed , that included his family members *MINUS* his wife & son..
      Allahu A'lam... ALLAH knows best...

The mother of the prophet S.A.W was Amina. She was not Muslim as she died before Islam. The traditional Arab belief was that Allah is the Almighty God but other things and other people have powers granted by him and they too were worshipped. I hope that helps.

@@yasirkathroo they believed in Allah yes. They also believed in the idols Lat and Uzza and they prayed to other people's graves. So their ultimate God was Allah but they worshipped other things alongside him. They believed that the idols would intercede on their behalf on the Day of Judgement. They had Imaan in Allah but weren't Muslim. Hope that answered your question.

When Isa(pbuh) comes back to earth, should people be calling him "Rasul of Allah" or is that title is only to be used for Muhhammad(sm.) for this ummah?
    .
Note that this is essentially a useless information, as the people can just ask him when he's here and that's the only time we need to know this. But I'm just asking for opinions (in context with fiqh of course) out of cuoriosity.

    • @sensix106
      @sensix106 4 роки тому +1

Amina Hooyo yeah. Do you know of a more deserving woman? She was one out every woman from the beginning of time til the end of time. What makes you belittle her? Can any of the females you know be compared to Mariam? Your response and attitude shows a lot of lack of respect, shows a lot of disrespect that can’t get you anywhere near jannah, shows immaturity for speaking about things you don’t know. The only person with a joke comment is you. You are not a true Muslim. Your pride will be destroyed, God will humiliate you if you don’t repent and apologize and if your mama wasn’t wise enough to teach you this, Mariam would have told you “if you don’t have any nice to say, shut up” making a noise can cost you. Especially when you are talking about the people Allah has raised up himself. You are here trying to say Allah choice was not good enough to be a nabi. Is your wife good enough? 2 rakats and fast on Monday and Thursday for 4 weeks. May Allah the most merciful forgive you and look over your pitiful pride. You don’t people will never respect you after your death. Asalamu aleykum wa ramatoulai wa barakatu

Nabi means nabuwat. Which was unknown to people Mohammad turned that information upside down opposite to what was nabuwat before . Quran says about Mohammad that he is not original among prophets and no covenant is given to him and he is a plain Warner. And HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO HIM. how this man can be prophet?????

What are you saying. Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon him is Called a Prophet in Qur'an. He converted people not by force but with invitation to islam. And Allah commanded him to establish Allah's religion in the land, so whosoever wanted to not accept islam had freedom to do so. Study with Muslim scholar, before forming an opinion

Was not the Cousin of Khadijah, Waraqah from the Medina Jewish tribe, I want to know if this is so and is this the same tribe that Mohammed had the Jews murdered? Also there is no witness to the presence that the Angel was Gabriel and what was the purpose of getting naked by Khadijah to prove the Angel was Gabriel? Another thing is the Book of Barnabas is where all this knowledge of Isa comes from, but that Book has no basis for Barnabas was with Paul on his journeys so this is a contradiction.

Umar was better than any Baker. Hadiths say if there could be another prophet would be Umar not Baker. For your information uthman was the person whom Angeles were very careful of talking and Mohammad covered himself when uthman entered in his house . Most of the revelation in Quran is from Umar not direct to Mohammad such as dress code of believing woman which became part of Quran later .

Break all idols ? But Quran commands to kill Jews and Christians not idol worshipers. In fact Mohammad prostrated with idol worshippers crooning Allah and their gods as equal .Quran says al alat al minat and al uzzah may intercede and their intercession is must. Idol worshipping had a little change from idols to stone but concept and rituals were adopted from quresh to Islam. Black stone absorbs sins while kissing this is paganism and this is the god of Mohammad who is one
