Excellent video and dog work I always enjoy watching your videos wish I was able to get out my one boy in Georgia has a pack I live in pa and have health concerns if God is willing and I am able I would like to go to Georgia and run his pack if the hunting season is finished
That is why we post these videos for reasons just like this. This should entertain you for a long time with this link........ ua-cam.com/users/mcardery2k
Mark Carder Thanks, I will check out the link. I have hunted some areas close to Buffalo Lake, including Jarvisville, and Sycamore. I was raised in Wilsonburg, and lived 31 years in Wolf Summit. I have lived the past ten years between Anmoore and Bridgeport on RT 58.
I love your video, this looks like great fun. I wish I knew how to hunt/train beagles for hunting cause your dogs look like they are having so much fun, i can only imagine my beagle it.
Great video man. I can't wait for next season!!! I got a new pup that is half Daddy Rabbit and half tri color from north Florida, both his parents are outstanding rabbit dogs that I hunt with often (parents are my buddy's dogs) and I can't wait to see what this little joker will do.
I appreciate you watching the videos. These dogs are a lot different style than the dogs you are talking about. A lot slower with more mouth. Most guys who run the style dogs you are talking about don't usually care for the style dogs we run.
Very beautiful hunting, beautiful work of dogs, have a lot of shooting missed there ;)) If you come in France I shall invite you to hunt the common hare and the hare of mountains you will like that
Seems like a lot of work for so few rabbits. They should go to South Dakota where the rabbits are more plentiful. I went on a hunt once with five other guys, and we shot fifty rabbits in a morning hunt. We were hunting northwest of Platte, South Dakota.
at the 12.46 mark, the guy on the left pulls the trigger before taking aim. You can see that he shoots the mud 3 ft in front of him before he even pulls up. I wouldn't want to hunt anywhere near him!
Love all the hound music! Beagles are nothing but miniture foxhounds. It's all they want to do is run that scent. Most beagles want nothing to do with the rabbit once you kill it. Once the rabbit is dead, they want to go find another one.
You do not teach beagles how to run a rabbit. They are not like training bird dogs. It is basically your job to expose them to rabbits. The rest they will do on their own. How they run will be determined by their breeding.
Don't know what you saw dangerous but we take a lot of pride in SAFTEY. We don't have anybody in our group who gets excited about shooting a rabbit. We make sure everybody is in position and nobody moves unless we all move. We take lots of caution to make sure nothing happens. Mark~
My Dad had the same bolt action shotgun that Greg was using, could you tell me who made this gun , I would like to try to locate one of these old shotguns, great video guys, good dogs, wish I was there Thanks
Its been my experience that if the rabbit has no clue the hunter is there waiting, he's generally so far out in front of the dogs that he's taking his good old time to get back near his hole. The reason these rabbits are running full tilt even though he has such a lead is because he has detected the hunter. The check right in front of the camera at 15:09, same reason. The camera needs to BE QUIET. Hasn't anyone told this guy rabbits have very big ears and they hear and fear everything. This cameraman shouts to shooters right when you expect the rabbit to pop out of the brush. Great sounding group of dogs though. It's a shame the camera guy makes them do three times the work for each rabbit.
It probably has not occurred to you but none of us give a hoot about killing the rabbit. We do this for the dogs. If we were serious about killing the rabbit we would not be running around with 410 pistols. I do appreciate you watching and posting plus having a opinion on the hunt.
It is anything but work. It has nothing to do about killing rabbits. I can't imagine how the dogs would ever run and know what they were running although I have to admit I would like to know what it would be like to see that many rabbits. I don't know what you would ever do with that many rabbits. You would need a wagon to carry them in.I guess you would not need dogs that hunt.
You all talk to much. Suppose to sit quiet and not move around. Rabbit can hear and see you know and will change their line if they see you moving or hear you talking. The way you guys hunt you will end up running your dogs to death before killing a rabbit.
BigWater59 None of us care about killing the rabbit. Our population is very low. That is why we all carry 410 pistols. It's about hanging out with good friends & watching dogs run. Oh yea & ragging on each other.
All I can say is run rabbit Run !!! uall got some good dogs . Go Skyview. Happy New Year too .

You know I have had 5 surgeries at Cleveland Clinic. My dogs are what keeps me ticking. Without them I would be lost.
Thank you for posting this video. I am no longer able to hunt, and listening to those beagles brings back a lot of good memories.

@@doublel7337 I just now saw this. I had well in those areas when I was a well tender. I hope you get this message.
Great video mark!!!! Real nice terrain!!! Nothing like spending a good day out with friends.
Great video, I enjoy it a lot. Good dogs and good humor also.
Thanks for watching.
nice hunt mark dogs burn it up and they packed real good
I love your video, this looks like great fun. I wish I knew how to hunt/train beagles for hunting cause your dogs look like they are having so much fun, i can only imagine my beagle it.
TheGcicero. Beagles are natural, you don't have to do anything but put them on rabbit scent. After so many times they will just take off barking.

It don't matter to me, I do prefer faster dogs but I appreciate all beagles and beaglers brother.
What state yall in?
13 or 15 beagles, as always the hunt is more about the chase and the trash talk that follows :) I love it
Thanks for watching the videos.
Very beautiful hunting, beautiful work of dogs, have a lot of shooting missed there ;))
If you come in France I shall invite you to hunt the common hare and the hare of mountains you will like that
Guillaume Robin sorry I did not see these post sooner. I would love the opportunity to come and hunt with everybody.
Thanks,
Just depends on the day how fast or slow they go.
Looking good Mark.
Thanks, I have been trying to figure out who made it for awhile now, great gun
That is what it is all about.... Just have a good time.
Seems like a lot of work for so few rabbits. They should go to South Dakota where the rabbits are more plentiful. I went on a hunt once with five other guys, and we shot fifty rabbits in a morning hunt. We were hunting northwest of Platte, South Dakota.
I have heard they had tons of rabbits. Our area does not have many rabbits... That's a 17 hour drive for us.
Starting & training pups are the best part.
Love hearing good dogs work...
Thanks for watching.
That was a fun hunt. We don't get to hunt many places that have a rabbit population.
@Ossters
Glad to get you hooked.
Hey Mr.Carder - @ 12.46 that rabbit was on a motorcycle when he came by . Hahaha
Thanks Mark for letting me know what gun it was
at the 12.46 mark, the guy on the left pulls the trigger before taking aim. You can see that he shoots the mud 3 ft in front of him before he even pulls up. I wouldn't want to hunt anywhere near him!
He has only shot a couple hunters in 5 years.
a good day hunting beats any day at work

LOL Comic relief.
What part did you noe understand
Good running
Most of them are Thompson Encore's
If I can get a couple of the guys to get some time off work I would love to come. I am going to work on them.
Mark~
With those Encores are you guys using the 45/410?
Love it
Yep
LOL!!!! At the 12:45 mark the guy with the pistol shot the mudhole right in front of him.
You do not teach beagles how to run a rabbit. They are not like training bird dogs. It is basically your job to expose them to rabbits. The rest they will do on their own. How they run will be determined by their breeding.
are you usin 22 rifles

Mark~
do u have to have tags for rabbits
Very few of the dogs care about the rabbit although some of the dogs do retrieve the rabbit.
Thanks,
What pistols do you use?
My Dad had the same bolt action shotgun that Greg was using, could you tell me who made this gun , I would like to try to locate one of these old shotguns, great video guys, good dogs, wish I was there Thanks
Sorry I did not see this sooner.
He tenido perros asi y mejores pero ha e unos 4 años pero asies que me gustan berracos perceguidores
They are trained to only run rabbits.

I do not know how to contact you dear Mark, I wanted to buy some subject you also adult, is very important for rabbits, I hope to have the answer soon
The dogs are having more fun than the guys....
The dogs love every minute of it. We do it for the enjoyment of the dogs not for killing rabbits. We run the dogs 12 months of the year
nice pack!
Nice shooting 😅😅😅
We are pitiful.
Now I am going to have to watch a reality show to see what we are like.

I will have to call Greg and ask him
I have no idea what u guys were doing out there.
do the beagles hunt fox too coyotes????
He could have been on a moped and been safe with us.
Yeah I saw that. And he shot behind the guy in the orange vests back. Kinda dangerous.
Dogs did fantastic but the hunters look like the honey boo boo family. lol
410
Huh???

That is pretty normal for us.

i am from wv and im tellin you rabbits here are fats and elusive but when you have good dogs like tht it dosent mattter
Seems like ant hound buddies talking crap to one another
Would not be any fun if we could not talk crap to each other.

Так и не понял а на кого Охота? А уж про безопастность и говорить нечего: она отсутствует. Я такого не видел никогда!!! Амеры тотальные илиоты.
They smoking is tail. I want some puppies off them. 252-647_9323. williammurphy793@gmail.com
Yall running your dog to much kill the rabbit and reward them with it
It's about the dogs not killing the rabbit.
Good dogs ... Not so good hunters. You can spot a bad hunter ... Hes always talking bragging etc decked out in expensive gear.
Good running
Daniel Maclin thanks... Would have responded sooner if I would have seen the post.
Thanks
