Check out the Burden here: theburdenmusic.bandcamp.com/album/terminal Shout out to the two members of that band for selling me their old graphics cards and keeping the budget PC community alive and well!
Hey there! I need some advice. I have a Ryzen 5 5600G, 32 GB RAM, an MSI B450M-A PRO MAX II motherboard, and a 550W bronze-rated power supply. I'm looking to buy a graphics card, and I'm torn between the RX 6600 and RTX 3060. Plan is to 1. play games on 1080p (1440p if possible). 2.some rendering on blender and video editing work. 3.planning to become an indie game developer so which one do you think would be better for me? Thanks in advance!
For gaming I don't think you will notice much of a difference between the two, long story short. For rendering and editing, the 3060 has more VRAM, which does help. I would say go with the best deal and keep saving up for future upgrades.
@HaisteComputerRepair "Sir, my motherboard has a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot. Will there be any performance drop?" And 550w power supply should I need to upgrade A Note - RTX 3060 is $52 dollars higher than RX 6600 in my country. What should I do?
@@aurobindonandi5064 I would say go with the 3060 if it looks to be in good working condition. Don't worry about the PCIe 3.0 right now, but keep in mind you can upgrade to a B550 motherboard with AM4 to get PCIe 4.0 speeds. The difference will not be that big, or at least not something to fixate on. You will be fine with the 550W PSU for now.
@@HaisteComputerRepair Thank you sir Sir just a small question Currently The RTX 3060 ( New ) Is priced at 290$ ( Asus RTX 3060 Dual OC V2 LHR 12GB Graphics Card ) So is it a good price or should I wait ( Although for about 10 months it hasn't changed )
@@aurobindonandi5064 What currency is that in? Honestly, if you have a use for it and you have the budget I would just go for it. In the future, you can always sell that same 3060 to help fund the purchase of a new graphics card.

I have heard of this from people and that is definitely a bummer. Good luck finding what you need!
Im still rocking a 1080ti with 7700k. Thinking about getting a new motherboard and CPU any suggestions? I would like to game at 1440 still.
I would say go for a Ryzen 5 5600X, AM4 B550 (PCIe 4.0) motherboard, and 3600MHz RAM if you can.
@@HaisteComputerRepairhe should buy 5600, little cheaper and basically the same thing
@@zmeczonko Agreed, better. But, I am operating in the budget realm and I explore all combinations of hardware that work well together.
AM5 motherboard (B650) and something between a 7500F and 7800X3D for sure
@ 7500F is a good CPU, definitely worth starting there as an investment into AM5
