Cool vid Matty good to see you back out and bending 🎣 maby gets bowls to bring out his underwater drone so after you finish fishing a spot send it down to see what the nanny's are holding on maybe feeding around at each spot depending on water depth you are dropping on bro 👍
@@PelagicPursuit89 I have an old school underwater camera that goes to a screen def not as good as the drone but it shows what's down there I think it's got 50mtrs of cable
Dear Matt watching you from 37 .00N ,,024.00 E your content and teaching tips are up to another level of jigging performance. Good work. Thanks so much
That is so epic mate, this whole video was just so satisfying… jig jig clunk! 🙌 I didn’t know yakkas were ever found that far north, they are one of the best baits down here in South East Queensland 👌 Always great tips and laughs, enjoy that nice weather while you can bro! 🎣🤙
That is wild. The longer I watched the video the more it sunk in that you fought a fish off the bottom with a jig not even hooked. Great content keep it up.
Always a good time when you upload cheers Mathew! One question mate what’s the go on your sea deck it looks like there’s always a constant wet patch up front
I'm sure you've heard of the old saying Matty, 'those that cannot do, teach'. It definitely does NOT apply to you. There's a few good channels out there, but none that are as informative as yours, and imo that's what sets you apart. Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🙌
In Indonesia we call it kepet technique, putting bait fish on the assist when fish aren't on the mood. Nanny is such a good eating fish. $5 a Kg, you're literally lifting a $20-$30 for every animal 😂
Mate you just gave to try sliders, or kaburas 100 gram orange are brilliant on snapper. And kingfish. My best is a 24lb snapper on a bruised banana slider, and a 16kg kingfish on an orange. You need as bendy a rod as possible and a slow wind, a turn a second. Deadly. You never gave to put bait on them.
hey matty, down here more southern/central queensland we get big knobby snapper, much like nannies, with gouges on their head. apparently some people think its from them headbutting hard reef and corals to get at the stuff that lives inside, like parrotfish sort of. be interesting to find out!👍👍
I hope God gave me some goods stuff for fishing.. I am truly love fishing 🥲🎣 love your video bro.. keep up.. watching your videos from the Philippines.. i am late but i will watch all of ur videos left at latest..
posted to brooksy ... you 2 and andy need to have a fishing comp... good for new content... and your own methods to catch a target species that isnt marked .... lets see who has the best technique .....
Epic stuff as always bro" I know it's not really your thing but can't wait to see you do some bait fishing or live bait fishing dropping down in places like that.. I'm sure you will have great results and catch alot of fish🤙💯
Hi Legend, For one of the fish you caught , you mentioned that it was “white too”. I know some fish’s colour may vary or get more pale than others, is it a benchmark the fact that this one was “white” or more pale than any other? Quality? Tasting? …etc… Thank you
I think they come off the more sandy areas being that slightly white colour ( no difference in fish or fillet) and for some reason don't get as bad Barra trauma so they look way better for the camera
is that hook island behind you ?? One day id love to go out there and just catch 1 nanny and tell bowly to slow down.. he is always snatching.... poor guy never has the luck...
Hey Matt , look I’m up in you’re area it’s a king shot but I have never been up here I have a 4.2 and would love some advice to find some decent hard pulling fish , in from way down south FNQ Is very different for me .
Thanks for the 6.3 gear ratio mention. Thought I’d kooked it when I bought my new lexa!

How depth the water?
60m - 200ft
👍👍👍
How deep do you send the 80g gypsea compared to the 120g. Like at what depth would you decide the 80g isnt heavy enought or getting too much drift
Good
