Yes, I was looking for this. I remember as a child how much I used to burst out laughing whenever those old granny ugly looking shoes came on @ 0:55 and when they walk past the screen @ 0:59 & 1:09 . Everything is so energetic and lively dancing to the music and then the ugliest pair of shoes i've ever seen doing the slowest most uncoordinated dance moves ever, just flashes on the screen outta nowhere....LOL........It's funny how I bust out laughing the same way many years later....some things never change. It's still my favorite part of the video.
Here are my guesses: 1.) Popin' Pete (Timothy Solomon) in the gray pants & shiny black shoes. 2.) Anne Marie D'Angelo in the white tights & ballet flats. 3.) Marjorie Smarth in the black leggings, white socks & Avia sneakers. 4.) Skeeter Rabbit in the blue shorts, yellow & white socks, & gray Nike sneakers. 5.) Ana "Lollipop" Sanchez in the red skirt, red socks, and black high heel pumps. 6.) Terry Bixler in the blue pants, orange socks, & black Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers. 7.) Jazzy J in the black pants and black tap dancing shoes. 8.) I'm not exactly sure who was in the maroon night gown and tan loafers. I wish the dancers would show their faces!
Not Ballet Flats... Pointe Shoes.... You cannot get up on your toes easily without the support of Pointe Shoes, plus a good bit of body strength. Although some Dancers dare to go en full pointe with bare feet and yes they are VERY strong.
DakariKingMykan My main issue I had with this clip was the fact that it just felt weird not seeing what these people looked like. We already know at the least they all have dark skin, but it would be nice to at least see their faces.

Skeeter Rabbit is the man in the Nike hiking shoes. Linda or Olivia is the woman in the red high heels. I don't know about the boy in the chucks. Savion is the man in the tap shoes. And Gordon's mom or dad is the person in the night shirt and slippers.
Those are not Ann Marie’s feet. This dancer is good but Ann Marie was a powerhouse. I know this as I have worked with her and I have also worked with Toni Basil.
Savion was not in this video, the skin tone doesn’t even match his. I’m guessing this was just a paid group of dancers who all happen to have dark brown skin (maybe a family? Who knows).
