only a stone's throw away from rotterdam you can find the biesbosch, a national park full of islands and narrow waterways, perfect to explore by boat
in the harbor of drimmelen, we rented a small boat for a full day, crossed the river and cruised througout the nature reserve. we had great weather, did multiple picnics, spotted some highland cows and enjoyed being on the water all day.
