Jag be careful you do not only have to turn off the lights and not move, your the game also picks up the audio from your microphone and puts it into the game so that's how he got you.

Jay heres a tip...stay silent when he's outside or near. Because the game has an audio type thing which if u speak the kidnapper will here u. I know it sounds cra cra but its true

thanks for letting me know but what happens if someone plays it with no mic?
If ur computer or laptop has a built in mic then it connects to that but if u have no mic nothing will happen if u speak..also u can manually turn off the mic thing in the main menu , so say you dont want the mic going into the game (I would use this feature if u have friends over who cant SHUT UP)...anyways it will make it so that the kidnapper cant hear u!

Here are some tips: Disconnect your mic from the game in the options. It's connected by default and if you speak when you mic is connected. The kidnapper will hear you. (This probably why you got caught) Also don't move after you turn out the lights. He will see you. Just be quiet, don't move, and wait until you hear him talk again. (Which can take about 30 seconds) Wait a little after you hear him talk a second time then you can continue.

For anyone curious, the warehouse 33 site is a real, messed up, site on the deep web. It was interesting to see it in the game, can't wait to see more sites to confirm my theory that the game uses real deep web sites.
Half of them are FBI honeypots, though.

I love the fact it uses your mic though because it makes it more realistic if you were hiding in the dark from someone you couldn't really shout "OH SHIT HE'S RIGHT THERE!".
I love the concept of the game and greedily which there was more to it, like different levels of the red room you access.
Or if there was a day limit to when you have to find the red rooms because they wouldn't be up forever I assume.

When the kidnapper dude is near turn off the lights and dont move not even micro moves bc he can see it bc he's walking around the yard. So when you dont want to be caught dont move.
and dont talk to us bc sometimes it monitors from the microphone so dont move and speak. after youll haear him go away from twigs and wait a some seconds like 15 after you dont hear anything then go back to hacking

So, A theory i heard is that it can pick up noises from your Microphone. Also moving your mouse while the kidnapper is near can actually attract him into entering the room.
Some kidnappers can't be heard, which is why 'The Location Services' icon pops up to warn you that he is very close to you. Even if you can hear him. The icon will always pop up when he is near.
You should write the codes down on a piece of paper so that if you lose you r codes you still would have them.
I was thinking the same, but it would take to long to write it.
