Govt needs to educate public on how to handle a body during an accident... You can't just lift them like that... Can cause serious damage to the spine etc ... Should always let medics with proper knowledge handle extracting bodies and using proper stretchers ... I'm sure there has already been cases where people could have survived accidents but died due to the way they were extracted and taken to the hospital

The district authorities of dimapur, chumu and Niuland should install cctv cameras on all strategic points such as highway junctions, train, bus/taxi/auto stands, and at all check gates so that accidents, missing persons, vehicle thefts, criminals etc can be quickly tracked. AI technology should also be used to help the law enforcement agencies. When people are aware that there are eyes watching from above they will be careful not to break the law.
This is very much needed but then our only 4 lane highway streetlights don't even work so there's high chance that cctv camera also will be just namesake like the streetlights😂😂😂

I've been driving for so many years now and what I've observed so far is that many drivers never slow down at the intersection junction. The road may be empty but if you slow down your car at every junction, regardless of any car coming from the opposite direction, the possibility of accident occurrence will be less.
I strongly believe this is the need of the hour to educate every driver to slow down at every intersection roads. Obey traffic rules, there's only ONE LIFE.

Very unfortunate news😢. In order to evade this kind of accident everybody should drive in within speed limit whether morning or night hours. Additionally CCTV should be installed especially in and around junction.

Ofcourse four wheelers should be cautious but two wheelers should be extra cautious, i see many two wheelers wearing shades and caps(like itt will protect them, just for showoff) but no helmets, use proper gear while driving a two wheeler you'll at least survive with some broken bones in this kind of situations

Also accident victims usually survive in other parts of the world but not here, qualified personnel and basic amenities in ambulance and correct diagnosis by the E.R and trauma management are required inorder to save the person which is missing here!!
