Thanks for this. The tip that helped me achieve success was your note to keep trying over and over, so this is the video that did it for me. Due to things like full disk drives and computer crashes I ended up getting it done on what must have been the 15th try! I had acutally given up but after you mentioned you need to keep trying I took your advice, glad I did! It seems one thing to understand is iTunes needs to download a 6gb file to start with (took my system about 22 minutes to do that). Then on the next go around (after I did the keypress sequences again), that's when iTunes unpacks the file, and writes it to your phone.

LIFE SAVER, my iPhone has a hardware issue the eSim disappeared and I cannot connect to WIFI so had to send it in for repair. I could factory reset since there was no network. THANK YOU!!! Now, do you know how to fix the wifi issue? LOL

Ok so I couldn’t unlock my iPhone I forgot the password and it says iPhone unavailable but I put in recovery mode and it reset it and updated it but it says iPhone unavailable again should try to reset again?
