10:03 I don't think epic would give cars stats because they're whole model for cosmetics in general is that they don't give any gameplay advantage so I personally don't think that they're changing the cars and it could just be the feel of them
Yeah so I don’t mean change for a competitive advantage just to add another dynamic to the game and provide that for free. Then everything else that enters the shop will be based to stats from items and cars people already have.
I do think the diestro is quite bigger than anything else but I personally prefer that, it also feels easier to like hit two boosts next to each other when drifting across

Hey love the video. Some video ideas I’d think would be cool for rocket racing would be ranking every expert track or you reacting to and/or trying to recreate world record attempts for rocket racing tracks
My personal opinion if u wanna test cars u should do the same race either speed run or a real track and actually test each car that way but still love wat u do bro keep it up
Diestro got me to elite and diesel to champ but the octane is getting me to unreal i notice when i use the routes i always i end up with more thrusters and more boost its kinda an advantage but sometimes it jumps too much so if you're not precise with it you will miss a lot and ruin your races compared to those two cars that feel more stable for recoverys. Imo The thing is in unreal you gotta be precise anyways so thats why the octane is the best

There are different hitboxes in rr, but the main thing I’m not sure about is if the hitboxes effect gameplay in anyway. And after using all of them I feel like they do to some capacity.

Sometimes, when I would get the glitch where it would randomly give me the Octane instead of my actual car when tabbed out between races, I could immediately notice that the Octane felt snappier or sharper. It really was like the Mclaren was a bit sluggish or something along those lines in comparison. Maybe it feels that way if the wheels are spaced further apart on the car? Idk, glad I wasn't the only one, great video man

My solution for the stats issue is: You get points for placing (e.g. 10 for 1st, 9 for 2nd etc) You can use these points to upgrade cars (max speed, drift speed, control) Maxxing each section or every section will give a decal for that car that can only be earned by completing the upgrades This gives incentive to use different cars for casuals and grind to max out everything for dedicated players Epic could also do tournaments where you can only use one car (if you don’t own it, the tournament will equip it for you while your playing) so your stats for each car actually matter
This is a cool concept but man match making will be hell lol because you would have to compare everyone’s car stats as well as there overall rank. Might be more difficult than it is worth tbh.
