2022 Team SONC Selection Show Reactions

On August 19, 2021, nearly 75 SONC athletes and Unified partners learned they would be representing Special Olympics North Carolina at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando, June 5-12. See some of their reactions!
www.sonc.net The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Special Olympics aims to combine high quality sports with a wide audience, and be a driving force for social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
