Hi. Watched your video on fitting an isolator switch for the diesel heater. It was very helpful. Did you buy any random type of switch or does it need to be a specific type? Do you have any of the spares going free? 😉

I need a switch like this for my pioneer head unit, whoever had the van before me had that poweredby the lesiure battery so if I leave the van a few days without running it kills the lesiure batter 🙄

I have done exactly the same. It means I can use the stereo from the leisure battery but like yours it draws some residual power and flattens the battery after around a week. The switch solved this 👌😁

Hey guys any pointers on this?
I hooked my stereo up to leisure battery via the fuse box swap, but for some reason I still get a drained starter battery eventually?! Kinda weird.
Any idea on what wire I should connect to a switch to stop that happening?

@@shawing I had the same problem. You will need to put a similar switch to the one in the video to switch off the permanent 12v feed to the radio unit. Hope that helps

@@LS10Works thanks fella! That what I was thinking of trying, but wasn't sure if it would just be the 12v wire on stereo or the acc wire, cos it seemed odd the starter battery was still the one getting drained.

Oh sorry I didn't see starter battery.. I thought it still drained the leisure battery. Have you fitted a swap loom?
