West Midlands Metro: Priestfield to Wolverhampton on Saturday 29th June 2024

On Saturday 29th June 2024, we visited Wolverhampton City Centre walking from Priestfield to Wolverhampton Railway Station filmimg the 14 tram service that operates on Saturdays. All of the electronic stop information claimed that there was one tram missing out of the output but it wasn't the case and, around 10:45, a fifteenth tram entered service but at 11:30, tram 38 ran into depot at Wednesbury Parkway.
Trams in service were:
CAF Urbos 3: 19 30
CAF Urbos 100: 38* 39 41 44AD 45AD 47 48 49 51 52 56 57 58
At Wednesbury Parkway, the electric points had failed and were being operated manually so trams had to travel through facing points at walking pace.
