My husband was diagnosed with Young Onset Alzheimer's at age 51. Then was re-diagnosed with Autoimmune Dementia/Encephalitis. He still has AD levels of amyloid/tau in his CSF but has had a normal MRI 4yrs in a row. He also had a dramatic response to high dose steroid infusions and immunotherapies. He is being watched closely as he presents as a very complex patient.
