My dream was to open my own karate dojo but I had to quit karate for religious reasons. I miss my old karate partners who used to train with me. I missed the days when I used to train karate happily 😢. Now I got into football ⚽ and it's now my new journey😭.

Hi brother, The dojo that brought me up was never affiliated with any karate organization. I will say that my grand Sensei took great influence from Kanazawa’s SKIF, and Asai Sensei when he was still JKA. Now I run my own dojo, and we are still non-affiliated. At the end I think it’s good to have structure, but it gets in the way of overall budo. Because of the fact that there will always be a deciding voice or head to restrict the curriculum to differentiate from other organizations. My karate focuses more on the principle inside, not just the shape or form on the outside. Hope that helps!
