- We spent the long weekend down in Perransands in Cornwall and had to check out the brand new seaside squad show with the all new characters. We weren’t sure at first now we felt about the changes but this is an absolutely amazing show. It is quite long and more of a show to watch than interact with (there was a few bits where you could get up and dance along towards the end!) Luckily Edens concentration and ability to sit and watch and listen has improved pretty dramatically in the past 6-9 months so she was able to enjoy it and watched the whole show. She did insist on sitting in her buggy strapped in for safety incase it was a little too scary. She loved Seaweeds and I think George will be her new favourite character

I Miss the old versions. I hope Ned, Polly, Greedy, Anxious and Bradley are resting well with their old friends like Merlin
Greedy and anxious are still there but they changed their names to Annie and George

This is actually sad. I’ve holidayed at Hafan Y Mor in Pwllheli, Wales several times and I remember the old Seaside Squad. Seeing this is disappointing.
I didn't know that I'd like the new squab but actually they're massively improved, love the new shows

I preferred the original Seaside squad mascots but at least the new ones are still actual Haven entertainers
dressed in a costume and not just virtual characters on a screen. But as I'm a bit too old for the Seaside
Squad it wouldn't be for me anyway, when I was growing up I was more familier with all the classics like
the Tiger club song and Jungle jive. I also remember when Bradley bear was originally part of British Holidays
in the 90s but then when Borne Leisure bought Haven they merged and phased out their own British Holidays firm
as Haven was originally owned by Rank Devision but most of the original Haven parks were sold off to Park Dean.
I don't think there's such a thing as too old for the seaside squad. I'm 37 and I definitely love them atleast as much if not more than Eden does. I didn't holiday with Haven growing up so I don't remember the old old guys from the tiger club days but I loved the previous squad too. I wasn't happy when they announced the changes but I actually love the new looks squad and the new shows, though some updated shows would be great if they do them this year , I've seen the purple banana show way too many times now 🤣
The changes were made by the American company that took over bourne leisure recently, they've made quite a lot of changes on park too with now things are run and especially with increasing prices for activities. I really don't like that they charge additionally for all the activities now, fine if it's make a bear and you're paying for the materials but to have to pay for everything like trampolining and sports and bug hunts when you already pay so much to actually stay there seems a little unfair

actually really up setting i have been going to haven for a while and they changed all the names but rory and taken bradley, polly and ned of the show really disapointing..
I heard that Polly and Ned have their own show but are puppets now rather then full suits
Yes they were but that was only for 1 season and they are just images on a screen now. Though they did come out in puppet form for the Halloween show
