- At the end of December 2020, I took an overnight backpacking trip in upstate South Carolina. The 26 mile loop included the Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative and Roundtop passages of the Palmetto Trail, a section of the Foothills Trail, and a little bit of road walking in Table Rock State Park. Nine miles the first day and 17 the second.
I love Table Rock. Enjoyed watching your adventure!
Thanks! I’d like to hike the loop counterclockwise next time.
Thanks for the video Neon. Brings back pleasant memories of our Foothills/Chattooga River Trail hike. Loved the music as well.
One day I hope to backpack in Hawaii!
I hope you and the rest of the gang come too when this Covid madness is pretty much resolved. I look forward to it
Well done, looks like a beautiful hike! Great takeaway at the end, thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching!
Love the videos. I’m from SC so its been cool to see places I’m familiar with. And also getting ideas for places I’d love to check out.
Waterfalls near Greenville
Wife and I did that loop this past September and had the time to do it in 3 days and enjoy some side trails. Beautiful trail. Hate you missed that turn…it was an easy one to miss. We used the Palmetto Trail maps on the Avenza app. Works in Airplane mode.
Thanks for the tip!
Great video Neon. Thanks for sharing looks like a good trail. We hiked the foothills last year, had to get off the trail due to heavy rain. Love the SC hiking we are in SC. But from Massachusetts.
I've hiked the whole FHT in sections, would love to do it all in one go. Beautiful trail.
Great Video! Thank you for posting. Can't wait to see more content 😍
Excellent video!!
Thank you. It was fun to shoot!
@@NeonRamble you're welcome! My sister and I did Table Rock trail on Wednesday. Pretty tricky. 3rd time for me. We want to do an overnight or two trail soon. Any recommendations are appreciated:)
@@tangents6299 This 26 mile loop consisted of parts of the Palmetto Trail's Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative and the Roundtop Mnt passages, and Foothills Trail. There is a campsite at mile 9 on BREC. On the FT the Cantrell site is about halfway around the loop, and the Lighthouse site 5.1 miles from Table Rock SP parking. Water at all three.
@@NeonRamble thanks, Neon!
Awesome video
Thanks!
