- What's up Guys. Welcome or Welcome back to my channel. Today I am watching one of the best action/thrillers that was made in the 90's in my opinion. The film was absolutely fun to watch and was loaded with action from beginning to end. Both John Travolta and Nicholas Cage gave a fantasic performance in this movie. I truly did not remember a single thing about the movie so I felt like this was my first time watching it. You will see in reaction my thoughts and how much I enjoyed the film.

Broken Arrow is another good John Woo movie with Travolta.
Hard Boiled first
Goddamn, what a rush!
"Fuck'em if they can't take a joke."
I used to looovveeee Broken Arrow my uncle got it for me for Christmas on VHS I watched it daily 🤣
Was just gna say that lol great movie
Thumbs up. Face/Off makes more sense when you find out it was originally set in "the future" (or so I've read).
Nicolas Cage is the gift that keeps on giving. This, along with Con Air and The Rock, all came out in a few years when he was being cast in action roles and I think he did a great job in all of them.
A great trinity of action flicks.
Great action flick. Back when they did crazy stunts for real. Man I miss that.
@Necramonium Not as much.
"So he's the bad guy?"
Yep, he is.
"For some reason I though he was the good guy!"
Yep, he is.
Dude. They way you described the dad and the daughter (I paid for that makeup)- made me cry. Legit. Had the normal teenage problems with dad like many do (typical “my job is to be your dad- not your friend; extremely strict, made sure I got good grades,I pay for your clothes, feed you etc)…. after I moved out and became an adult. He and I became best friends He died young about 6 months after my wife and I had our first baby. I was able to tell him many times before he died how I finally understood how good of a dad he was after we became friends…..now raising my 3 kids- I followed the same template my dad used. I’m not your friend. I’m your dad. Friendships come later. Etc. Their teenage years were a little ugly but not major issues. Now all 3 age 23-19. They are going to college and even have jobs. My last birthday- all 3 bought me a TV for the side room, a PLaystaion and a bunch of games movies etc. of course I said “you shouldn’t have spent this on me- you all need to keep your money for your future.” They responded “for 20 years you gave up your own video game fun so we could have the video games. You wore old clothes so we could have the new stuff. You always asked “did the kids eat” before grabbing anything if you got out of work late”. “This is our way of thanking you for being a dad first. And a friend second. This is what friends do to say thank you”. I lost my shit crying and went into the side bathroom, looked up to the sky and thanked my father for showing me the template for being a dad. Even though I thought I hated him as a teen- he did the right thing. So when you said “paid the bills” t took me right back to that awesome birthday for me and my kids disclosed that my job of Dad is transitioning to friend. Hank you for that
You can just tell both actors were having an absolute blast making this movie
Both actors had to impersonate what the other would act like impersonating them. Wild
I've seen this movie several times, but this was the first time I recognized the cinematic genius that was in the part where they were shooting at each other through the mirror. Even though they switched faces, since they were shooting at the mirror they were shooting their enemy, that's awesome. Great reaction Devin.
Both Nicolas Cage and John Travolta are truly tremendous in Face/Off. Their performances in this movie deserve more appreciation!
You've gotta keep that Nic Cage train rolling with Con Air!
Yes Coin Air is 😊
Agreed
Crazy thing is Nic Cage made both Con Air and Face/Off in 1997!
Welcome to con air!
Finally someone has done a reaction to Face Off. Very under rated movie.
I'm also recommending the Rock, along with Broken Arrow, and Con Air.
I just love the character of Castor Troy, something so enjoyable about a story when the bad guy's always having the time of his life.
It's an unbearable talent of Nicholas Cage😄
“ I would of stayed slim” I lost it at that 🤣🤣
"Why did I think Nick Cage was the good guy in this!?"
[insert wearing another man's face joke here]
Is Nick Cage the good guy or the bad guy?
The answer is: Yes. lol
"Get outta herre, Get the F'ck outta herre!"
You need to make a t-shirt Dev. (Merch)
I'd change it to "Get outta hurr" (looks less wrong than "her", but pronounced the same, lol).
Facts
@@VelkanAngels That would make a cool Hoodie DG. How about "You don't want this smoke!" lol.
Man Nicholas Cage is such an entertainer! I’ve always loved this movie!
I really hope you react to Soldier starring Kurt Russell, it's awesome
This channel has the best reactions to the best movies
Man, you just keep the hits coming, Mr. G! Another great movie, John Travolta and Nicholas Cage played each other pretending to be each other perfectly, facial expressions, mannerisms, body language, all perfect. Great reaction, keep it up! And oh yeah, a belated happy anniversary of you!😁 Oh, and I feel the need to point out, Archer wasn't crying over the bad guy, Castor's brother, Castor wearing Archers face was crying over his own brother, you did seem to get confused as to who was really who and what was really going on a few times, but that's okay, easy to do.
So excited to see this pop up in recommended. It is one of my guilty pleasure movies because no one else I know likes it. I love it! Happy belated birthday!
Yeah, one if the best action movies ever. John Woo was a master. Hard Target was pretty fun too and MI2. And Broken Arrow.
Definitely do “The Rock” with Nick Cage, and Sean Connery, and “The Long Kiss Goodnight” with Samuel L, and Geena Davis. Way ahead of its time.
Also a couple underrated classics from the early 00’s are “Rules of Engagement” with Samuel L Jackson, and Tommy Lee Jones, and “Master, and Commander” with Russel Crowe. Great military films
PS a show called “Justified” starring Timothy Olyphant that aired on FX would right up your alley
Thanks for reacting to quality stuff 🙌🏻
The most 90s action movie out of all 90s action movies.
I grew up to movies like this. Keep the good reactions coming my dude!
These dudes take turns chewing scenes. And it is Awesome!!
This is America John Woo. You need to see his Hong Kong work. Hardboiled, The Killer, A Better Tomorrow are all crazy awesome and worth seeing. You will be a huge Chow Yun-Fat fan by the time you finish, and know when to expect the 🕊
This movie made me look up Face transplants online and it turns out, not only is it real, it's MORE awesome than advertised. Granted, it's not as smooth, but it truly is a fascinating art that's helped bring peoples' lives back after devastation.
Oh bruh you gotta do ConAir it’s right up there wit face/off if u asks me
This movie is amazing. It never gets old watching these two amazing actors act as each other’s characters the whole movie.
I cant believe I missed this reaction! One of my favorites. I miss these types of movies. Face off, broken arrow, con air, the rock. All awesome stuff
One of the best action movies ever
Castor Troy, the Joker without all the comic book bullshit
Well put.
When I saw this film for the first time at the age of 14 I thought Castor Troy was this badass cool guy. That's until I saw this film more in my adult life and realized, Castor Troy was nothing more than a murderer without feelings or remorse. When he stole Archer's face he became even more psychotic than he was at the beginning of the fIlm. He became a walking time bomb. Just how watch the scene where he uses the FBI to infiltrate Dietrich's hideout to kill Archer putting he and Sasha's child at risk to be killed.
SO MUCH CHEESE.
DOUBLE CHEESECAKE & CHEESEBURGER MEGGA MEAL.
SO CHEESEY IS TOO GOOD NOT TO WATCH. LOVE THE 90s. I DO MISS IT SO.
John Woo has quite a filmography!
One of my all time faves for just putting a movie on and having fun! Great action sequences/editing/pacing. I also love the fact that both Cage and Travolta match eachother with their performances. Wether playing good or bad!
Love your content bro bro!! 💪🏾 You should watch Demolition Man on here lol
Demolition Man has only gotten better with time. Snipes is one of my favourite bad guys ever in that movie.
@@jakesnow5728 Snipes kills it! You're absolutely right though, only gets better.
The best stuntmen in the business all across the world wanted to work on this film. They had seen Hard Boiled which I'd highly recommend. So they knew about John Woo .
Aaaaaah "Volte / Face" (in french) super movie, John Woo's movies are amazing 🙌🙌 I love Cage and Travolta in this one ❤️ my teenager memories, this film ❤️
Hell yeah my dude! Lets go!! Had a blast watching it with you on your patreon!
Yes! John Woo is the action MASTER! Gotta do Hard Boiled next man! It's next level gunfights!
Man Travolta Acting like Nick Cage kills me I love this movie for that
This Is One Of My All Time Favorite Films.

Love this movie pure action movie.
Undeniably one of the greatest movies ever, possibly the epitome of 90's action along with "the Rock"
Love the 90s John Woo films 🕊 🕊 🕊
Happy belated birthday! I LOVE your reactions! You’re the best man.
I love how bonkers the premise for this movie is but they were like, who cares? And 100% leaned into it.
con air with Nicholas cage is a classic to.
I strongly suggest you watch Woo's Hong Kong output.
These movies are even more insane and action packed.
The Killer is his best movie.
Also worth the watch is A Better Tomorrow, A Better Tomorrow 2, Bullet in the Head (is in the context of the Vietnam war) and Hard Boiled, which has an extended shootout in a hospital where the bad guys take the patients hostages and has more than 320 on screen kills.
Awesome movie and reaction bro! You're reacting to a ton of movies other reactors don't!
John Travolta can really fly planes and helicopters
HARD TARGET is another JOHN WOO movie that is mandatory watching
Nick cage did a great job on the Movie Joe worth checking out
The girl at the church scene did Know cause she saved archers wife and just in the few days she knew Sean anointed him the father. Also she knew who his henchmen were so she could see where all the guns were pointed
Awesome Work Bro, Thanks 👍👍👍 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
Nobody: ...
Devin: They took that Boy’s Face-Off!!
😂😂
Dat boi's face off. Oowee!
Definitely an underrated classic!
My man! Another great one!
Happy belated birthday big dog. Tears of the Sun.
Movie has a plane chase, car chase, boat chase, gun fights and tons of pigeons.
Honest Trailers said it best: Did they swap dongs? Cause Dong-Off would have been a way different movie.
I think I just binge watched your reactions for like 4 hours. Subscribed.
LMFAO at what you said at the end “I would of stayed slim” 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
This is a very good action movie. Makes a lot of fun. hehehe Another good John Woo movie is "Hard Target" with J.Claude van Damme. It`s very good and van Damme`s best movie i think^^ Also the cast is very good, Lance Henrikson, Arnold Vosloo and Wilford Brimley the doctor from The Thing :-) Good joice bro, i like your videos and your reactions.

They couldn't get two better actors to play these parts Nickolas and john

Man, your Chanel continually draws my attention to the fact, how cool some movies in the 90s were... I guess I saw this Movie at the age of 12 and since then I've never seen a similar plot again. It was great. And your Reaction is great too (Greetings from Germany)
Just realized this movie came out the year I was born
I remember going to see this in the theater my senior year of highschool. It's probably been 20 years since the last time I watched this movie.

-Patrice O'Neal

Definitely one of my top 10 favorite endings. Tears me up all the time
lol, Devin you have to listen on youtube Patrice O Neal and Jim Norton talk about Faceoff on Opie and Anthony it is hilarious.
7:33 man's hyped
When I first saw this film I used over analyze the facial procedure. I mean there was no scars or sign of a incision also the facial features would be different. Ears, nose & what about eye color. So it was hard to believe this was even possible still good idea for a movie, certainly original
This is my second favorite Nicolas Cage movie next to Con Air.
Castor Troy is the coolest bad guy ever! 😎
👍 Always my man! 🙋 Do the Pitch Meeting with Ryan George for this movie. You will love it!!!
The 90's had some great movies. Please do The Long Kiss Goodnight.
Hurt Locker still to be done bruh👌🇬🇧🥃
Happy Belated Birthday M'man!!!
Def a childhood classic, this flick is amazing yet goofy in the best way. john woo always makes some fun and top notch action. slo mo gun shots, sparks, spent casing, and bullet holes everywhere : D
"Con Air" and "The Rock" -two movies with Cage similar to this one.
