I have followed for videos for years and I'm rewatching them now because I just had to give the ultimate gifts to my little Bug. He literally brought me back from a coma after a stroke. I owe him EVERYTHING. God speed, Toliver.
As a long time cavalier owner, I appreciate your informative videos. I always learn something new! I love this Breed so much. Can’t wait for the rest of the videos to drop. I love that you educate the public and promote the breed.
Sweet beautiful Tag. A legacy of her own. I love seeing her Cavalier dot. 💕 I wish she was mine!! She listens so intently to you. A pleasure to be in her presence. Adorable.
Your Cavalier is beautiful! I had a female for 13 yrs, amd looked so much like yours! Her name was Hershey. She was so loveable and very seldom barked and loved people. She had the thumb print, too, The breeder called it the King Charles thumb print. I'd give anything to have another Cavalier!
Thank you and Teg. That was most informative. I always chose Blenheims as my fur babies some am thrilled that you chose this colour to be your first episode.
Great video. I knew the name Duchess Thumbprint but not any of the other names for it. I have a British last name that no one in America can pronounce correctly because of the silent letters. I tell people to pronounce it like "Not-en- am" and I'm always asked what that is. Nottingham 😂
I love watching your videos and learning more about these precious puppies! Would you ever consider explaining how you got started with Cavaliers and what your first litter was like?
My Blenheim, Spencer, has a Queen’s Kiss or a Duchess’ Thumbprint. I never knew it was a “thing”!!! He certainly wins a blue ribbon in my heart!!! ♥️♥️♥️🐶🐶🐶♥️♥️♥️. Tag is a sweetheart!!!
I love the story of the spot. We call it the “kissing spot”. Also Sarah Church was the “favourite” of Queen Anne. I recommend the film about their relationship The Favourite, though there’s a lack of cavaliers.
Wow! That’s so fascinating! I just subscribed! Keep these videos coming!!! I want to mention, President Ronald Reagan took his Cavalier, Rex everywhere with him. He even rode aboard Air Force One.
Hi. Loved the video. Waiting for Ruby. I have a Ruby girl five years old. But a poorly girl on lots of tablets but we support 100 per cent. Thank you 😊
Thank you! I’m currently doing all the research I can to be properly informed about this breed. I live in the Southeastern Valley of AZ. I’ve reached out to several people for help on finding a responsible AKC breeder but, it’s become a daunting task. I am a senior, living in a excellent controlled access community of private homes. I do not want the pup for breeding purposes. I have a remaining 8 year old AKC neutered Havanese. All my dogs have been microchipped . Sadly, lost his half sister last year after a prolonged battle with a weakened trachea. Where do I begin???
Regardless of why you want the puppy, it's absolutely vital that you deal only with a responsible breeder. A good first step would be to watch my video on how to find one: ua-cam.com/video/jK8mrPclQb4/v-deo.html. That will answer a lot of your concerns. Feel free to message me if you have more questions.
There are albino Cavaliers - very rare - and they are all white. But their eyes are also a very light color, and that's the tip-off. If the Cavalier's eyes are dark, then what you are talking about is just a very lightly marked Blenheim.
Is there any difference between the colour of the cavalier and their character? - I. e. the ruby one are supposed to be more energetic. BH more calm. Etc. true or a miss-fact?
That’s what some people claim, but I don’t subscribe to that belief. After 40+ years with the breed, I have had all sorts of personalities in all 4 colors. I suspect the root of this myth is that breeders who have Cavaliers of one color will see personality traits in their offspring, and attribute it to the color, when it could simply be a genetic characteristic being passed on.
Hi, my blenhiem went over the rainbow bridge, I have been heartbroken, looking for another blenhiem but I am now on limited income, I can not pay 3,000.00. Any suggestions?
It's a long shot, but every once in a while, some of the top breeders will place a retired show or breeding Cavalier in a pet home at the age of 5 or 6. You would get an excellent dog at an attractive price. It takes diligence and time, calling REPUTABLE breeders and staying in touch with any who might consider placing a veteran at some point.
The whining was by Bella - she’s usually at our daughter’s house, but is staying with us for a few weeks while she’s in season. She always demands attention.

Blenheim kiss is what we call the spot (if existing) on their little heads…
I can’t wait for you to do the Ruby coloration! I have a Ruby boy and many people don’t even realize he’s a cavi. I think it’s a very beautiful coat.

Thank you for a very informative video. I learn something every time I watch.
Blenheims are my favourite coat markings. I hope to have one someday. What a good girl Tag is!

I've learned so much from this 'most excellent' breeder!!! Knowledgeable, wonderful bedside manners, kind! Thanks. 🤗😇💃
Thank you for history👍 beautiful tag 🐕❤️😘

Hi Tag. How old are you? My Clare Bear is 14 and 9 months old!!! I also have a Ruby 4 and 9 months old named Penny Lane. Love your videos!!
Tag will be 10 years old on October 1.
QUESTION:
What is the very smallest in weight, and in overall size for this breed?
Thank you. 👍🏻
The Breed Standard calls for an adult weight of 13 to 18 pounds. Of course, there are always Cavaliers who are either less than 13 or more than 18.
Do you consider a blenheim that has very little red brown spots a concern? Like if the entire body is just white?
There are albino Cavaliers - very rare - and they are all white. But their eyes are also a very light color, and that's the tip-off. If the Cavalier's eyes are dark, then what you are talking about is just a very lightly marked Blenheim.
We English say Blenim for Blenheim and Marlbra for Marborough. FYI.
😍

Hi Tag!
How old is tag ❤️ she is beautiful
Tag will be 10 years old in October.
Someone’s having a little whimper during your history lesson 😭
🙂
My blenheim doesnt have the queens kiss. I need to get a blenheim that has that. Whose whining in the background?
The whining was by Bella - she’s usually at our daughter’s house, but is staying with us for a few weeks while she’s in season. She always demands attention.
