Really pleased you’re back on UA-cam and doing well. Watched you teaching Ruben the EICR video about 10 times. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
I think Jordan is just WAY out of his depth. He thinks he's a tv star, not a sparky, and tries to charge TV star rates. Friend asked him for a quote on a car charger (sorry EVSE) , and got a snotty email back saying 'be aware we won't quote for anything under a grand'... wtf, 2M run from the CU to the outside of the house! I led him thru doing the donkey work himself, and he got a local spark to come in, inspect and commission it, under a ton!
friend wasn't clear on it, but a bog standard EVSE install, WITH the charger, would come in way under that. Unless it's a difficult route, or a tesla. Tesla we put 50 quid markup on because their wall connectors are an absolute ARSE
John, as a retired engineer (who was also made redundant in a November, many years ago!) I must say I really respect your attitude to your work and your professionalism. I can see the logic in your fault-finding and diagnostic approach, and see that you are an excellent mentor to those up-&-coming in the trade. You will continue to be watched with great respect (as we do with others like Cory and Jamie) and keen interest in the more intriguing searches. Keep up the good work, look after your family and your own health. (As I think we all know now, CU changes and EV point fitting is becoming a bit tedious!).
Great to see you back on UA-cam. I picked up a few great tips and tricks from your previous videos. Looking forward to picking up a few more now. I only this channel randomly though - maybe get Sam and Jamie to announce it on the podcast? Cheers!
Hi John, as a new learner at night school changing career and trying to get started as an electrician your previous hints and tips have always been an incredible help and your teaching style really does help us newer learners. Its really appreciated and good luck with it all, can't wait for your content
John good to see you doing you and what you are amazing at I'm not a sparky but have watched all the videos that you were apart of. You are a great teacher and how you such a great teacher for Ruben. You have been missed and thank you for sharing your knowledge
Subscribed As soon as your video came up. You and Cory was my favourite other than residual current so glad to see you both doing your own things. Getting let off just before Xmas was a dirty move but any good sparky will bounce back.
Been away for a week and come back to 3/4 videos of John. Glad you're giving UA-cam a go. No pressure, but be careful suggesting you don't like sponsors, giving your natural humour and knowledge, once your filming anxiety flows away, i can see you getting real popular! Unilite will be just round the corner 😂😂 Enjoy, and looking forward to more 🎉
You are a very good and knowledgeable engineer. Also, your content has and will inspire more people than you realise, so keep doing what you're doing 👊👌
Long awaited… This is great news that you are producing videos here now. Great idea to do some content around inspections… There isn’t really other good examples of that and it’s so important. When I was going through 2391 it was very hard to find information about inspections for self study. If you want to spice it up a bit, bring back Tool of the Day, but it can be a person rather than an implement 😉😂
It might be all the same thing we see with other electricians, but i like the way you do things and how you taught even on Artisan which for me has lost its way. Cory saw the light and left and his channel is funny. Not wishing to cause offence but you're more old school, even though I'm a lot older than you. I'm glad i found this channel.
Oh that makes more sense now that's why you looked familiar. Hard to tell without the I think it was blue jacket/shirt. I feel like I really missed a lot of what was going on well Firefox was not working right with UA-cam. Sounds like there might've been more going on behind the scenes than what made it to UA-cam, Sad. The Contant over there was very roller coasterly have a ton of it all at once and then it would dry up for a while. Which is fine but the way it dried up but it's usually not. Well welcome to UA-cam again? Don't feel pressured to do regular Contant just do some thing every so often to keep it active unless there's something that deserves more screen time. It seems like everybody gets blocked into this they need to upload a video every other day otherwise everything breaks thing.
Hi John. What's this about no electrical power in your garage? Apparently there is a small company called Artisan or something who are scratching around for work. Give 'em a try or better still Do It Yourself. Good to have you back mate.
Don't feel bad replying to old comments. The person might still be looking for an answer or somebody else might be looking for the answer that the original person was looking for. I do it all the time. Just have to be careful that it's not some thing that gets repetitive for repeat questions.
@imark7777777 Well I hope you don't mind the massive delay getting back to this message! I try answer what I can. But any experienced stark watching this, get involved!! This a little a community to make electrician's great again! So I need all the help I can get! No one knows it all!
@kentmasic I was made redundant mate. I decided to go off on my own and do my own thing. I'm now trying to put out some informative content for learner's as I continue on my self employed journey 👍
@@John_Faultless oh right I’m sorry, but why? You looked like a great worker, Surely they are busy?! Is there a video about it on artisan? Hope everything goes well for you
@kentmasic No the work dried up. 3 of us were made redundant. They did do a live video explaining things but there was a big backlash and they ended up deleting it and any comment that mentioned me. But I'm doing well and hopefully they're doing well now. I wish them all the best
@@John_Faultless oh right well I thought you was brilliant! Who else was made redundant? Anyone that used to be on the videos? Looked like a good place to be working…

@mikegmarshall I really enjoy Jaime's stuff. There's so many people too scared to call companies out on substandard products or practice's. What I think people find frustrating is Jaime actually knows what he's talking about so people struggle to argue with him because 9/10 he's correct in what he's saying. You may not like him. But you gotta respect his knowledge and commitment to making this trade better....
Bloody 'ell... you popped up in my suggestions. Was gutted when the other sh@# happened and you dissappeared. You're a great model, especially for the juniors coming into the trade. Proper old school hands on learning🥳👌🫶
