They look to create fake polarization, a very unrealistic version of debate. Thing is, we've seen it when it was a lot more organic. It started with Skip on Cold Pizza and the rotating cast... Stephen, Shannon, now JJ. The sad thing is that even the athletes are creating a fake polarization. Shannon changes governments often to reflect whoever is winning at the moment and JJ became a weird passive aggressive old guy plumber in young skin. He used to have my fav podcast, but the dark shadow of Disney and ESPN clearly mold these people into something they arent- an inorganic TV life form. Wish everyone contributed toward something normal, that mattered. Rc was a real one.

I think it’s unfair to compare Ryan and Pat in the first place. When ESPN hired Pat they hired a Show. They bought the rights to air it on their broadcast. Ryan went to ESPN as an employee… the Pivot has definitely turned into something special and it’s worth all his time and attention.

THATS BS and you know it. This is AMERIKKKA BRO, Black men who are uncle T0ms and stand
on their Pivot WILL ALWAYS BE SEEN AS A THREAT. hence why we gotta get Whyte friends co hosts,
and partners so that THE POWERS THAT BE ARENT ALARMED. ps even if ryan had his own show or whatever
you dont think ESPN wouldnt play hardball with ryan to the point it doesnt come through... again dont forget

These two are apples and oranges. Pat gets paid what he does because he and his show can generate tons of interest and money for ESPN, otherwise they'd never have thought of hiring him for a second. Ryan Clark is in an analyst's role and would never generate near that much, so he won't get paid near that much. But Clark is very good at what he does and deserves to make more than the average NFL analyst does.

He’s upset because Pat can bash another executive and get away with it and he feels like he can’t. Well that’s because Pat has a huge money making following and Pat knows that if he leaves his followers will follow so he can call out an executive and get away with it. That’s how the game works you have to have leverage and evidently Clark has none.

RC very astutely summed the situation up.
RC gave you the lessons he learned as a top tier professional, and I understand it went over your ability to comprehend.
I will leave it at that.
The standard good ole boi tactic is to attack us by what we don't know.
This causes that feeling of superiority.
But that feeling changes the moment that we gain understanding and then act on it. That is when it turns into fear and anger for you types. 😊
It's really so many examples of this in all levels of American culture and it's a problem with the many that are so angry and fearful about this new America.
My advice: accept it because it's happening.
It's so much ignorance in America today. It's one voice, one movement at a time for progress.
I for one, love the slogan e Pluribus unum.

I don't like Skip but let's keep it a buck, Skip brought Shannon onto the FS1 platform to help himself win. But Shannon won too by building his brand through that platform. I still think there is a lot of value in a paid quasi-internship in mainstream sports media. The ESPN polish on RC's delivery is a huge upgrade compared to their former partner. But RC a scholar and hard worker the other guy had that "internship" opportunity but he isn't as good.

He’s just mad because Macaffey has the balls and the pull to call out another executive and he doesn’t, and it’s not a race thing because Stephen a could do the same thing. Clark is just disposable bottom line.

The end with the apparent dig at Pat ... smh ... not smart. Of course it's different for different people ... go build a show with your crew and get it to the point where a media giant comes knocking and you will be able to call out those above you who are pulling against you.

RC should start a UA-cam show something like Pat McAfee and see where it goes...

ESPN needs to stop paying a select few crazy money and then letting quality content contributors walk. RC is the man

I liked Ryan but ESPN as a whole with the exception of sports center has gotten old and stale, seeing them debate the same ridiculous things over and over again and then hearing Greeny get wood talking about A Rodgers is enough for me to not care who is working on air

Seriously, tell me the last video that got widespread attention of Ryan having a great take and wasn't about race. Ill wait....

Wow Ryan was the best NFL analyst on ESPN. He will thrive on his own!

Contract negotiations for millions to play football must be so hard. How does this man get out of bed every day. LoL.
Sometimes, pro level athletes complain about things that should not be issues.
