Lmao, I was bullied all through my elementary and middle school, I love this song because it empowered me to continue fight this constant bullying. In high school, the bullying finally stopped, and all because I stepped it out and showed myself that I am a strong and beautiful individual
I used to listen to it every day when I was 10 or 11. I found this song by accident with subtitles as my native language isn't English, and the message + the music video resonated with me so much because I was bullied as well. Everyone down there saying that shes being rude and blah blah how shes trying to make her haters feel "inadequate" Ok. first off, her whole point of this song was that the people that used to hate on her at school can't come and try to start being nice to her after her success. Everyone who does something in their life that is rude is going to eventually get something back for what they've done. In the video the kids were bullying her, now that shes successful in her life some of the people that have bullied her have tried to come back into her life so they can be famous for knowing her.
I remember my sister playing this song every day when I was little and I just remembered it randomly today and I finally understand what the song is about:/
I was very bullied in school and I listened to this and used to imagine that one day maybe I'd be a singer and would find my own way in life. Now I've gotten quite far on a very big TV singing contest and the future looks *bright*. Just waiting for the old bullies to hit me up... Who's laughing now?

Your all being so horrible she was bullied when she was younger and I know how it feels yet she is still able to be the amazing person she is now. I get bullied in real and these kind of songs make me feel stronger nad look at all these famous people who got bullied too Maybe i'll raise like that these kind of songs give me hope :)
I also know how it feels to be bullied. Just know that it does get better and the bullies only bully as an outlet of something in there life that they push onto other people to try to make themselves feel better. I get bullied in real and these kind of songs make me feel stronger nad look at all these famous people who got bullied too
Maybe i'll raise like that these kind of songs give me hope :)
same, I should sing this at Tue audition tomorrow as a message to my bullies
I know shat is to be bullyed and im giving you all the hope i have
I also know how it feels to be bullied. Just know that it does get better and the bullies only bully as an outlet of something in there life that they push onto other people to try to make themselves feel better. Sending love, hope and support to yourself and anyone else who is affected by bullying 💜
me too the fuck girls at school but..who's laughing nowwwww?
Anna Sophia I give ya all my hope bless ya hope u stop getting bullied soon 👍🏻
Growing up as a brown kid going to an all white school this song helped me alot
Still listenning to this at 55 years old becausa it helps me a lot. Thanks Jessie J.
The stereotypical ;
“The girl that wears black gets bullied by the girls that wear pink”
Mhm
But it was based on Jessie's experience, so she was that stereotypical girl
Yeah
If a stereotype exist, it is because it happened at some point.
I used to wear both and would get bullied by the girls who wore everything else
Dear enemies,I give this song to you. c:
