Hi, everyone! I hope you find these three dictionaries to be useful. If you have any questions about other dictionaries that I didn't mention in the video, I am happy to share my opinions on them. Thanks! ⭐👍
I was waiting for someone to mention the famous Cambridge dictionary! It's good, and has a great grammar guide. However, if you like the style of the Cambridge dictionary then I recommend the Longman (LDOCE) dictionary, which is a lot more complete (especially for verbs) than the Cambridge dictionary and is also generally a lot clearer in explaining word usage with more helpful features for learners.👍
I have been using Cambridge&Merriam-Webster as my main dictionaries but still can’t find vocabularies I am looking for sometimes. This video is helpful, will try them. Thanks for sharing😊
You're welcome! Yes, those two are not very complete (especially Merriam-Webster). I can also recommend the Longman (LDOCE) dictionary and Lexico alongside the Collins dictionary, all of which are far more complete. 😊 Edit: I forgot to mention that Merriam-Webster do have a special Learner's dictionary that's much better than the standard one: www.learnersdictionary.com/ 👍
