I play sand volleyball for the most part and as long as it's less than a split second, that's okay to palm hit the ball.

I'm confused. Were the rules that nobody could exceed a jogging pace and under no circumstances could anyone actually swing their arm? I am what anyone would consider to be a casual, amateur, borderline terrible volleyball player standing at 5'9" and I can promise you that if I were to grab some drunk at the bar and follow some sort of semblance of actual volleyball rules, we'd wipe the floor with any combination of those four players.
It looked like they were playing catch. This whole video is a joke that 50 people were in on, right?
