This is actually a genius idea. You get new people constantly one-upping each other for a new word, it makes an interesting stream, and even though he gives back when he loses, it's only the top donation at that time, so he profits all the words that he doesn't say until that point.
Plus there's all the donos trying to make him lose, those are just like regular donations
no it's not, you have to hope all the combined donos are more than 5 times the latest one.

I just realized how much of a mogel move this is. He is gifting subs to himself so he gets $3 back on each sub that he does and with that $2 he loses he almost gains back in the donations from the stream. Basically lud only lost around $200-300 but gains a UA-cam video and a stream from it which pays way more than the stream costed to do. Pog.
