There is only one thing I could possibly that may have made a scene better. If maybe in the shadow scene that along with the light to so eye placement do that creepy smile too! But it's fantastic as it is, no doubt!
I love the way Sun's influence asserts itself, and I love how Moon flattens down the rays with his hands. The whole body language is very pleasing to watch.

Moon's hands even twitch a little bit when Sun is trying to take control instead of just the ray things popping out it makes it feel like sun is genuinely trying to take over and stop moon from hunting him down but can't because moon is fighting back and it's still dark

Something I quite like about this is that it seems Sun knows Gregory is there but is trying to prevent Moon from finding him, and trying to buy Gregory enough time to escape. I quite like that detail.

Using a bonnie doll in the animation to explain why moondrop would bring him up is genius! Other animations who do this for the day care attendants usually skip that part! Also makes him seem more deranged!

Honestly, I've gotten so used to/annoyed with edits and sketches using preexisting audio just having the subtitles say one thing while the voice say the other that this felt... genuinely refreshing.
No joke, that scene there was what made me subscribe. Barely five seconds of animation elevated this artist from 'just another sketch/clip/edit/etc. maker' to someone who I feel has genuine creativity and is worth following.
It's moments like this that give me hope in UA-cam content, when bullshit like shorts have drained all the hope out of me.

Most of the people that do these are just doing it for fun and aren't here for everyon's entertainment, and taking a look at your comment it literally just looks like you're sharing your personal preference in which, no one asked.
I love how Sun's "Not as far as I'm aware!" actually plays into the progression of the animation by interrupting Moon's search and giving Gregory just enough time to move to a new hiding spot. It's a neat detail that makes the animation feel more grounded by having the back-and-forth have consequences on the environment and characters outside of it

I like the fact that Sun KNOWS Gregory is there because he was with him before the lights went out. Moon doesn’t appear to actually know if he is there or if he is just toying with Gregory but Sun comes out every time he almost catches Gregory to stall for time for him to escape and dissuade and distract Moon. Leading him off the trail and making excuses. Sun is literally gasLIGHTing moon to protect Gregory.

We all gotta appreciate how well done this is.
The hand gestures first off, I love how even when Sun isn’t even fully out, you can tell he still has some control, and over the fact he is trying to distract Moon to help Gregory is a nice additional detail you added.
I also loved how Moon doesn’t immediately jumpscare Gregory. He isn’t the mean and scary animatronic; he is just infested by a virus which made him evil. I like how he grabs Gregory first and is just smiling, like maybe trying to fight back the glitch virus thing.
ALSO, BON BON. That was freakin smart. A lot of animators don’t add that in cuz why would Moon mention it? But having a bunny toy to pick up is pretty smart, I also liked how he just stepped on it out of anger over the fact Gregory kept escaping.
I like how Moon pushes in the sun rays to make Sun shut up so he can focus. Nice detail 👍
Overall, this is amazing and I hope people don’t repost. I love how smooth it is as well. Great job! 😀😍

One of my favorite parts of this animatic is that Moon's always smiling unless something from the environment changes that, like his cheeks squishing from the bonnie plush and his hands. There are moments where his smile is weird but still has the majority of the smile there to put emphasis on the emotion Moon's feeling, but it still looks like a smile! I love this so much, as well as the smear frames with Moon's red eyes, it's a nice realistic touch to how those bright lights moving so fast would be registered by the brain. There's just too much to say about this animation, it's just so good! You portray Moon and Sun so brilliantly as well as play with how they interact when one of them is in primary control!
Yeah for example at the beginning, his smile is normal until he hears Gregory, then his smile gets more big and that kind of smug face, this animation gets me every time it's amazing and the little details are even better!
I love how Gregory actually looks terrified like a child would be in this situation
When you’re playing the game itself it’s really hard to get a feel for how traumatic this must be for a kid, so it’s really cool to see it portrayed like this :)

Like it’s good just, there’s not even a single scream or terror shed from Gregroy in the entire game unless if his bear dad got harmed.
I mean he definitely is scared.
He's scared, but he also puts up a damn good fight by kicking Moon's face with a rather impressive kick. Cementing Gregory's status as a child- but a notable one at that as he has the spine to stand up to these things. The fact that he's not like other kids either- if the secret tapes are accurate, it's possible that Gregory is a child tech prodigy with a preference to talking to AIs rather than people. The animatronics probably don't spook him so much, even if he's still reasonably wary and afraid.
Soon to be channel actually- ive noticed that when a jumpscare occurs, the scream that you clearly hear is gregory’s. it couldnt be anyone else’s and i doubt it was just added for the creepy factor. i mean why would animatronics made to entertain be programmed with such a terrifying screech? only other thing that makes sense is its vanny or afton playing the scream through the animatronics but i dont see that happening.
which’s why I loved that in the comic-endings we see Gregory cry like a normal kid would. I do believe Gregory’s apathetic/brutal demeanour throughout the game is to show he alrdy saw horrible stuff due to being an orphan homeless child, but it was still a sweet touch to see him show emotions
the effort put into actually making them share a body instead of separating them is actually really respectable, this is sick

Whoa! Love all the minute twitches whenever Sun pipes into the verse, and Moon’s expressions are fantastic. Wonderful body language with really smooth animation! Also love how MUCH they move: the gestures and the twisting are a great illusion of the space they take up.
I love absolutely everything about this- the movements, the details, everything. I especially love the eyeroll from Moon at 0:15 it's so smooth but conveys his frustration perfectly. You're crazy talented dude keep it up!
The movements, Gregory's expressions, the fluid yet twitchiness whenever Sun fights for control is just incredible. Moon talking to the bonnie doll is so creative and there's so much detail in the whole animation. Gregory looks so scared yet weirded out by Moon/Sun switching, and Moon looking increasingly annoyed by Sun looks great. This is probably one of my favorite fnaf animations along with your Chica animation. :)

That little bit at 00:10 was so good with moon pushing one of sun's rays back in so it shifts from white to black and red again, its so deliberate, and the way the eye rolls back into place suggests that the rays are tied to their eyes and just, aaaaaa such good lore/world building

The amount of expression you add to him just by makin them spin around in his sockets and how it adds to the feeling of his mind going further and further down the rabbit hole is phenomenal.

okay, seriously. i tried once and sun/moon is VERY hard to draw. so i have one word for this. respect.
not only drawing the character, but animating it well, and even putting different expressions on his face. i seriously cannot comprehend how you did that, and if you could do a full version of this, i would def watch it. this is just pure, friggin awesomeness. you are incredible.
To be honest I don't see this as Sun forcefully trying to take back control. The way Moon is behaving seems a lot less aggressive than "normal." At least not until the second half of the song. It looks like this is something that happens regularly between both of them, with one of them stepping in for a second to say something. Perhaps the only way they could communicate to each other.
The movement is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. You made the faces the most expressive they can be all while still limited to a smile. The eye roll, the perspectives, the hand gestures when sun comes out (and the fluidity of his spikes coming out) it all seems so unbelievably natural and realistic. When he rolls his head and glitches when the music has that one scratchy cord- Once again best thing I’ve ever seen.
It really takes the birthday cake!

I can’t express how many times I have watched this.
From the intricate movement, the sharp and then smooth dynamics, the body language of the two characters fighting for the body, the clear dominance moon has in the situation, the way sun KNOWS Gregory is there but tries to convince moon otherwise, the amount of character you give them, everything is just so beautiful.
I think I have screenshoted every single frame from this animatic just to study it. I am appalled that I haven’t found your UA-cam channel earlier, because your work is so incredible. I used to hate sundrop/moondrop, mainly because of their fight scene in the game, I got so annoyed with their voice taunting me, that at some point I just despised the character. But you made me really love the character, and I know that it may not matter much to you but I feel like that’s such a huge thing to do with a person - completely change their opinion on something, especially in a positive way.

I've rewatched the part where he says "why don't you believe me?" (0:14) BECAUSE IT'S JUST SOO GOOD, THE EXPRESSION, THE WAY HE ROLLS HIS EYES AND LOOKS SO ANNOYED SLIDING HIS HANDS DOWN HIS FACE. also love the way that it looks like he's trying to push sun's rays in to silence him, it's such a cool detail. I've been rewatching this since yesterday and honestly I'm obsessed.

Sun trying to protect Gregory from moon despite breaking the rules is sweet. This really puts the Dr Jekyll and Mr.Hyde type relationship Sun and Moon have in the game into visual perspective. I love when Sun appears on half in control as if fighting the programing.
Actually, in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Dr. Jekyll is essentially just changing his appearance, he still retains full control of his body. The whole book is his battle between being able to engage in his "base urges" and being hated or just locking them away, feeling unfulfilled, but having a good reputation. I highly recommend the book if you're interested.

Can I just say that I cannot get over how fluid this is for a sketch animation? Like seriously, this is beautiful!
Nobody really is talking about how the body *shudders* when Sun and Moon are vying for control, it’s a very slight detail but it very accurately illustrates the internal cage match, though Moon has the upper hand and quickly suppresses Sun the brief moments Sun catches him distracted are full of this unnatural jittering quite like someone more energetic than you has suddenly burst to the surface to do or say one thing before they’re pushed back down.
I adore how fluid this animation is!! Amazing work!!!

I find it so interesting that a song that was intended for Sister Location managed to gain (regain?) popularity 5 years down the line for a completely different set of characters in the same franchise, the Internet works in mysterious ways.
On a more relevant note, this animation is wonderful. The back-and-forth between Sun and Moon was portrayed beautifully, I also really appreciate that you used a longer segment of the song instead of the one everyone else usually goes for. This was stellar work, can’t wait to see more of your animations.
And the fact that Funtime Freddy and Sun and Moon have the same voice actor is also interesting.

I like how whenever sundrop starts coming out, moondrop starts holding his head with one hand at first, then proceeds to basically push sundrop away the second time (he pushes on one of his little ray things) and then when he fully comes out at like 0:13ish, you see moondrop trying to use both hands to push sundrop back in
At the same time it somewhat looks like someone trying to cover their ears
Hence it seems that moondrop is trying to silence sundrop or at least stop sundrop from persuading him that its all in his head.

I had no clue how you were gonna pull off the Bon-Bon line and have it make sense but you nailed it!
I love the movements here, very fluid! And having Sunnydrop sorta erratically trying to take control with the sun rays sticking out is amazing! To me it seems like Sunny is trying to not only regain control of their shared body, but maybe also help Gregory in a way? Anyway, I love this animation and I love how Moondrop moves as well, especially the head movements which add to the emotion and the feeling that he's gone mad.
Edit: I also love at the part "Why don't you believe me?" how Moondrop just looks so exasperated. I also love all of Sunnydrop's hand gestures; it's just such a fun little detail that adds so much to the personality! I mean, when they have long hands/fingers like that, it's hard not to give them expressive hand gestures!
Yeah I interpret it as Sunny trying to negotiate with moondrop to try and protect Gregory. Like when half of the face is sunnydrop, you can see “sweat” and almost a look of panick like he’s trying to calm him down before he hurts anyone.And yeah I absolutely love how sunnydrop’s movements like his hands take over moon drops.
Even just the hand gestures at moments like 0:07 is so incredible looking, its subtle yet adds all sorts of detail that would be missing without it. Great job, this is incredible!

@@Soul-zg8sd while sun moves at a fairly constant speed, moon move either erratic or meticulous, like when he bends down when Gregory is holding his breath he jerks down but walks very slow.
I noticed the mouse and spark lyric it looks like sun is the moving like. Flicking the hand like it's just a rodent its nothing and the spark he pointed saying I saw some lights flicker that's all. When sun stops moom from seeing gregory he shows like well I'm looking here to and I dont see anyone.

There are two things I like about this animation.
For one, the way you implemented sun was just lovely, I've never seen people do that with sun an moon before and it's pleasing to see.
And second, I like how moon's movements are smooth and fluid, but also snappy. It gives off a certain vibe and i live for it, not to mention the motions fit well with the song choice!
I think this was well put together overall and I'm super proud of you and the work you have done! Keep it up!

It’s so sweet but heartbreaking showing he is using every fibre of his being to protect Gregory
It kind of puts the banning in a new light. Sun's probably a little furious that Gregory would disregard the only rule he gave him, but, for the sake of Gregory and probably themselves at that point given that they might’ve been on thin ice with management, he had to get the child out of the Daycare and away from Moon. So, he punted Gregory out and called security, assuming that would probably be the end of it. Little did Sun know, security itself was a major part of the problem.
Also brings up the notion that maybe Moon wasn't supposed to be out that night, but Vanessa used her authorization to override it.
I know a lot of people are pointing out great stuff about this animation, but if there's something that I can add to the discussion, I love how the backgrounds are...designed? I've seen a lot of people play through this part and I feel like if I had the game I could go to the exact spot where this animation takes place. It's very grounded in a very cool way (also I love the way you use stillness here, like when Moon was holding Gregory before he kicked him.)

This sketch animation is just so crisp as it is, my favorite thing about it is all the expressions. Their all bouncy, and you don't know what to expect after they show them. For example, when Gregory hid behind the boxes I was honestly expecting him to have a cringing face because moon almost saw him! He was just terrified. Also how moon felt embarrassed and held his mouth shut when sun was trying to break free, it's just amazing overall
I can't find words to describe how perfect the first seconds are, the "bling" when Moon looks where Gregory is, Sun appearing for a few seconds each time..my gosh I got goosebumps

Not only is the animation smooth but the expressions, composition, and movements are so well done! I'm out here going back through the animation just to rewatch all the movements that happen on screen. So satisfying to watch, you made the audio fit so well with them! One of the best fan animations I've seen
The way you make moons eyes move is incredible! I always come back to this animation because I’m OBSESSED with it!
I dont often comment but, this is so good! Most people make them seperate people, which is very unrealistic, and the way Sun is also very active is nice! You can also see frustration in Moon and literal fear in Gregory. Smooth animation and adding a Bon Bon plush was clever, as most people just skip that part because they probably didn't find a way to insert Bon Bon or just because Bon Bon comes from Sister Location. Lets just say, this animation is absolutely perfect!
This is one of the most unique versions I've seen. The art is beautiful and it looks like you put a lot of heart into the project. The overall story it tells is equally amazing.
The idea that Sun is fighting for control to keep Gregory safe, which you can see go into overdrive when he just barely interrupts Moon with interference in time for Gregory to escape, is not only a great idea but makes sense when you consider the protocols that he and Moon have, well that Moon has sans murderous rabbit interference.

@@nonupload8064 Even if that's the case, I see an amazing story, whether it was intended to have one or not. The take on Moon's character and how his behavior could influence/be influenced by his actions throughout the game.
The creator may have intended it to have a story, or they might not. But that doesn't mean I can't find or piece one together that makes sense to me in a meaningful way.

This is such creative genius! The way Moon and Sun speak to each other, the fact that Gregory tries to fight back at some points, and the creative use of the Bonnie plush all go great. And that’s not even considering the smooth animation, distinct designs, and overall art. I’ve been mostly a silent viewer on this channel but this deserves a full comment.
This is SO cool, I love how Sun is trying to fight Moon to take over, I love how crazy Moon looks and the way his head spins around, I love that he picks up a Bonnie plush for the part where Bon Bon's name is mentioned. I can't stop rewatching this.

I always love the visuals when it comes to robots being glitchy or jerky in their movements. The bits where sun was "barely" coming out for his lines were so satisfying and exciting to watch, especially how it looked like it was still Moon's face but forced into that expression when the sun flaps came out. Such a stunning visual.
My favorite part, and I can't say why, is after he's caught Gregory and rolled his eyes. The twitching head after it fell down with the eye spin was so amazing to watch.
Absolutely loved how this piece was done, and I love their characterizations.
honestly the expressions Moon is making keeps making me feel like hes just playing/messing with Gregory, especially the last one. I like it and its pretty cool.

I love how Sundrop's constantly fighting for control, especially when Moondrop finds Gregory the first time behind the boxes and Sun takes over in time so he can get away. Also the way Moon's eyes move is so chillingly amazing, your portrayal in this animation is top tier ❤️

The duality and clear opposites fits perfectly, and the fact that they reside in the same animatronic just makes it even better,

the choreography and movements are FANTASTIC!!! so realistic to how they would move and communicate, and so entertaining to watch!
I love how Sun isn’t taking full control when it’s his line, but it looks like they’re fighting and it gives SUCH A COOL EFFECT!
I love the idea where they are always fighting for control instead of "Oh its night time for Moon to come out" or "Oh its daytime time for Sun to come out".

This is so cool and creepy! I love that when sun comes out moon shoves the Sunray spikes on the sides back in like he's physically trying to force sun back. It's such a subtle detail and it makes all the difference. Nice touch!
i love how moon has to physically repress sundrop from coming out by actually pushing his rays back in. the concept of them sharing a body is so cool and the way you portrayed it is so interesting!

This is unbelievably well done. The movement, composition, and general flow is astounding.
Oh man I just love everything about this. The way you can go from such smooth movements to those rugged, twitchy ones when Sun interferes. And don’t even get me started on the way you animate the eyes! Since moon and sun always smiles you really captured the mood and emotions they are feeling from the pupils and eyes. Not to mention your gorgeous art style. Just amazing!
