I always think it is so cute how they just climb upside down. What a nice bird. I hope you have decades and decades of love with your birdie. The more you show love to her, the more she will show love to you and she will end up being so tame and loving - well you may get a bite every so often. Like I read - if you don't want to get bitten or hear screaches, don't get a bird. But birds can be so loving and sweet and they have such huge personalities.
@@QueAquatics Birds, have such cute looks, I like how they look at you sneaky like thinking "you are looking at me and thinking, 'I'm just a bird', but in truth, I am so much more and so much smarter and sneakier'. There is a lot going on in that little bird brain.
Sophie is awesome Suzy, great work on bonding. I used to have an amazon bluefront so I know parrots aren't the easiest to work with. I got the chance to see these guys in the wild, truly beautiful to see them fly in flocks.
G’day sis I think I’ve told you I grew up with a father who loved animals and Birds and he had over 160 different types of birds and numbers of each one so growing up and helping dad with the birds I truly miss and I thank you for the trip down memory lane and the tear in my eye when you had that music playing. But I must say we never had a macor but was on his bucket list but he was taken young at 56 so it was so so rewarding to see this girl in your hands
You have an amazing amount of patience with her. Going at her pace and building mutual trust. It's so cool to see how far she has come in just 3 months. OMG...I would have freaked out with her flying into the fish tank water...just freaked out. You are so good with her. 👍💕👍
Hey have you tried to start implementing BT’s target and clicker training. The clicker is a great snapshot to👍 that’s what I want to see more of that. Also BT has several bathing vids.
Shes cool , nice job with the training 🙏 Did you see the episode of Fraiser where Niles bird attaches herself to Niles head when someone rings the doorbell 😂 ✌💞
Try misting the air above the cage...that's a good place to start with the bath. You can also put a large sturdy dog water bowl on the bottom of the cage and she will eventually take a bath in it
QueAquatics I’m so glad to hear it 🥰 just keep introducing it to her and eventually she will sit on your shoulder in the shower (not too warm so wait till the summer Lol) yeah, the sun conures are beautiful. I had my little girl for 17 years. She was such a love 💕
Have you clipped her wings so she can't hurt herself when she flies. It probably will be pretty hard to do that yet. I know a vet could do it for you. I'm sure she would love a bath. You just have to find out what she prefers. I'm sure your watching other videos on how to train birds. Your doing such a great job. Love the video.
I watch so many videos and I bought BirdTricks 101 too. I have not clipped her wings yet, Still working on stepping up. I keep feeling like I am doing something wrong
I think she is adorable. Did she come from a neglectful or abusive situation. Just wondering . She's certainly feeling comfortable with you. Good luck.
@@QueAquatics I'm sure your patience and calm demeanor will get through to her. She seems to be responding positively to you . Best of luck. I look forward to seeing her progress.
Sophie is so adorable
I am in love

Hahaha I had practice with 4 daughters
Sophie is looking great, you're doing a fantastic job 😊💛👍
thank you, I hope so. This is a very long process
Love how your taking it at her pace and the sneaky trick of slowly moving the tree further away. Brilliant strong progress👍🏽
thank you. I am really practicing permission based training. Never would I have thought...
very cool proud of her for sure
thanks bro!! I am so in love. What are you doing this weekend? I am coming up for the baby shower. Have an extra bed?
Great progress!

Hahahah I did freak out a bit on the inside. Then I saw how scared she was and I just melted.

Yes! All but the stick. She gets so freaked out with the stick. I think her last owners may have misused a stick or perch with her
She’s amazing 🥰
Right?!?
Ah yes, the iconic REEEH from a Severe Macaw.
hahahah you can't hide it hhahaha

Yay! Baby steps are made.
You are not kidding!
She's absolutely beautiful! You know you've made it when she preens herself on you. My little Sun Conure parrot loved pasta lol 💕👍
