Dude my own boyfriend died and got cremated 3 years ago and when this pallette came out, the last thing on my mind was that and I was actually so memorized by the creativity and art that came out of this. People really gotta get over themselves.
So you're saying someone whos just had to cremate a loved one last week shouldn't be upset? People are allowed to feel hurt about this, it's great that you weren't, but not everyone is going to feel the same way.. your experience was over three years ago, what about someone whos only just going through this?? But cremation is definitely a normal part of our lives and has been for a very, very long time so I agree. When this concept was thought up people would have been so excited over the ~spooky~ theme because it’s enormously popular.

I don’t believe this palette has anything to do with Civid-19 or the pandemic. This is what Jeffree does best, he creates and sells high quality products. There is no correlation to what is happening in the world. He comes from a place of creativity, and art as a business person. I personally feel like this Cremated release is a source of comfort and makes me happy b/c it gives me a sense of normality during this unsettling time as a Jeffree Star follower. Thank you JSC for not disappointing!
I’m sure jeffree wasn’t planning on a pandemic before this palette was launched. He also explained the release date. It really wasn’t that distasteful. I get it, but at the same time, not everything is meant to be directed at you. If the palette offended you, simply dislike it, don’t buy it, and move on. I get we’re losing family members during this crisis. But this isn’t the only time people have ever been cremated.

Jefree, my sister died in a car crash on March 14, her name was Alyssa Scheda, and all I wanted to say we both love/loved you and she was cremated, when I saw this video it absolutely shook me. It was crazy to me to see a pale released a few months after she died, I guess I wanted to say thank you a lot. And she would of been shook when she saw this palet

I kinda thought the effect of his makeup was photoshopped, but this just shows the amount of work that went into this makeup look and it's everything!
Honestly, as someone whose deceased relatives have all been actually cremated, I think the name and color scheme of the palette is beautiful, like a tribute to those who have passed on. I want that palette sort of as a way to remember them; My own style is very gothic, but I could hardly ever find a proper greyscale eyeshadow set that didn't have a strange undertone. Anyone who is trying to claim that Jeffree is profiting off of death is an absolute fool who doesn't actually look at his content. Can't wait for the launch!

People who have issues with business that serve the needs of those that are grieving a loss need to open there eyes to see how many businesses actually fit into this category that “profits from death”.
