Eating disorders are not about being skinny, most people who struggle with this disorder are actually feeling so out of control that they want to gain a sense of control. Hurting themselves by not eating helps them feel like they are in control of something. It's very complicated and sad. I'm so thankful she has made it through and she's sharing her story. There are many people out there who can use this for motivation.
