I saw Lisa play Elphaba in Wicked. I've seen 4 Elphabas, and she was hands down the best. I got the chills. I know all those songs by heart, but they've never made me cry before...I wish I could see her play that role again! She's such an amazing singer...
I saw her as Elphaba on Broadway and she was amazing and met her after the show and was so nice and she totally owned this song! Yea, Lisa pretty much wins at life!!
Scott, I love that Lisa makes you want to put 'Magic' back into 'Piece'. I fell in love with this song a long time ago when I heard Julia sing it (I still have a copy on Cd from your Piece MySpace). Then I heard Eden sing it and fell in love again. But after hearing Lisa I don't know what I would do if 'Piece' finally opened and 'Magic' wasn't a part of it. Scott, this song is amazing. Please don't turn your back on it.
she is so amazing!! I love this song too! You know who I'd like to hear sing this one? Stephanie J Block. I bet she'd be awesome!! Not that Lisa's not though cause she rocks it!! lol I'm just curious to see what steph would sound like
I must say, I did not like this song when I heard it on the CD. But with Lisa singing, it adds the element that it was missing and now I love this song!
Lisa is the Chicago Elphaba now. I've never seen her in person but she does have a beautiful voice. I actually prefer the "mature" voice. SJB is in the same range, Mezzo-soprano. Just personal taste, I guess.

Did she play Elphaba? I recognize her form somewhere but can't put my finger on it...

is it written for a man? or is it just your opinion?
