You would think that march 7th a literal preservation character would at least get hit once by a single target. BUT NO tingyun is just there being both the destruction, preservation, and attractor of harm in harmony
I see three solutions to this problem. Obviously, you run Lynx, solution 1. Solution 2 is Martch 7th purely for her shield. Solution 3 is removing Tingyun 😎. What does not exist, does not fear pain.

the attack at 12:23 is a bounce just like asta/sampo/welt skill, so it targets one character (lynx in this case) but then bounces on random targets the lightning guardian uses a move like this as well
I think march is a genuinely strong solo sustain especially for f2p players, but her strongest defensive tool, her ult, has anti synergy with clara so if you want to use her in a team with clara you have to bring a healer since the freeze cripples clara's damage output so much. Freezebot march 7th is amazing though, I remember facing off against the big ape and the sanctus medicus general at the same time and march was the only person who could keep the whole team alive on her own. My only 5 star sustain at the time was bailu but there was no way she could keep up with all the oncoming damage even spamming her skill every turn. And even now that I have fu xuan I still use march in SU and swarm disaster just for how well she enables remembrance. Genuinely one of my favorite characters and units to use, it honestly feels so rewarding to finish a side of moc with your whole team at near full health knowing you had zero healing the entire fight. Sorry, I could ramble about her for hours.

@@artumbo exactly, I'm super excited for a potential 5 star march since her backstory is one of the biggest unanswered questions the game is teasing us with so far. One thing I find funny though is how much of her kit mirrors gepard in a sense. Their both ice and preservation, but she's a 4 star who applies a single target shield on her skill and an aoe freeze on her ultimate, while gepard is a 5 star who applies a single target freeze on his skill and an aoe shield on his ultimate. I just find that really fascinating.

The reason Tingyun is getting attacked so often is because of her low HP. Yes, Preservation, Destruction and Abundance have higher base aggro and that's usually enough to keep attacks away from other Harmony characters. But Tingyun's HP is so damn low, that the enemy AI's "attack character with lowest HP" thing just kicks in a ton. Edit: In my current main team of Bailu, Bronya, Tingyun, Dan Heng IL, Tingyun doesn't get attacked too much. She has 4k+ HP and I think about 1k Def somehow. I'd say it's pretty even who gets attacked between Tingyun, Bailu and Daniel. Which is still insane considering Bailu and Daniel should get attacked the most. Bronya meanwhile has the time of her life.
Her light cone makes her even better with the heal. I have it at S2 and I pretty much do the same thing as you're doing here and it's just it's so wonderful
Don't forget that Luka also provides buff removal! So current players have Pela and Luka as free options, the hunt lightcone or praying for a Luocha rerun. The Rite of Great Arbor Metamorphosis I believe isn't entirely random. It's a bounce attack like Asta/Sampo/Welt and so the first hit can be influenced by taunt. The rest is random though.
Just about dispelling buffs, Luka can also dispel 1 buff when you use his skill once you've unlocked the "Kinetic Overload" trace. But I agree they definitely need more ways to dispel buffs.

Topaz put's a debuff on enemies with her skill that, when lvl 10, increases how much follow-up attack damage they take by 50%. She is a hunt character so she can only have this on 1 enemy at a time so typically you would just put it on the tankiest of them all but it sounds insane with Clara. Also when enemies with that debuff are hit by follow-up attacks, it makes her trotter action forward by 50% (Numby works similar to lightning lord where they have their own turn that comes up over time but instead of the target being random, it is always the enemy that Topaz has debuffed)
It's insane how high the aggro value of Clara with Lynx & March skills is in these runs but somehow Tingyun still manage to get hit 💀 she's not even a Preservation unit but girlie just keeps on taunting the enemies
One short story I had regarding Lynx : Before Lynx's release, I thought that yeah, it's basically a necessity for me to pull for her so I could finish off MoC10 1st Node with ease (she has AoE Cleanse which helps with removing The Ascended's Black Prana's Snare debuff). Turned out that Fu Xuan prevailed, especially because Tingyun really needed the huge damage mitigation to stay alive. Who would've thought that a non-shielder Preservation like Fu Xuan could excellently solo-sustain in her own ways...
ive been 3-starring moc 10 with Clara, March, Lynx, Bronya (because i dont have a Tingyun lol) for a while now and its really been carrying me. its so easy to build her too because you wouldnt even be mad at getting a few defense/hp/effres substats since she can actually use them

this is why I decided to build hp on my Tingyun atm she has 4k hp and and about 3k atk and my god is it a breath of fresh air not seeing her on the brink of death after 2 hits
tingyun is a grown up clara when svarog left since she can already protect herself i guess. that explains why she gets hit more. my tingyun be having the exact same problem like wtf
if you mean the attack where the ascended hits several times its basically like asta's or sampo's skill, just a bounce attack, its just likely gonna hit the character with the highest taunt value but the 2nd hit and after all hits random targets
topaz tingyun clara and lynx would be a great team. topaz having that buff to follow up attacks that clara can maintain it for 100% of the time and topaz being buffed with either tingyun or asta wouldl be a great dual dps team where both do good damage looking forward to them , plus I will be fighting the urge to pull fu xuan even tho moc hits hard but maybe luocha can make it
oh i think we're talking about different things! cleanse is different from dispel - cleanse is removing a debuff from ally, dispel is removing a buff from an enemy
Nice! I was planning to do this with Jingliu and Lynx. I have Lynx E2 and Clara's lightcone was my first 5* pull from standard. I was going to give her Longevous for more sustain (and it's so efficient to farm). With Lynx she will proc the 2nd passive requiring less crit substats and all the Clara lightcone buffs. You are right ...I learned my lesson in the first year of Genshin to not go for a 4* unless I was willing to get the 5*. It hurt.
On 7:15 you said Luocha and Pela are the only one, but I think Luka has also one on his skill with his left bonus ability unlocked! Anyway, great video. I really should build my Lynx she seems like a good addition to my Clara team!

Luka also has a purge, which tends to be forgotten about when his role is often completely different I also sometimes feel like there is an HP bias to enemy attacks, like having lower a lower numerical hp stat influences what characters are targetted

from what i gather, tingyun's unexpected enmity occurs from that her buff to your main 'dps' is not a buff to the dps attack; but rather appends a 'bonus action' attack of tingyun to the attack of main attacker. thus the 2nd attack from her buff adds agro/enmity to tingyun and not to the dps further: preservation/destruction units have an increased (not guranteed) chance of getting attacked; gurantee requires a successful taunt
Clara basically works really well with anyone, + Luocha = Forever auto heal +Lynx= Easier COunter +Fu Xuan= Even much tankier She is really versatile character, can be used as subdps, tank, hypercarry... Def one of the best standard character to pull.
7:08 Luka can actually dispel! with his skill and with the trace "Kinetic Overload" you can dispel enemy buffs which is pretty useful too since his skill applies bleed
I've been using Lynx with Blade, they work so well together. Then when I was considering if I wanna get Jingliu or Topaz, I pulled a Clara from the Standard Banner. Hoyo making these choices for me. Fingers crossed I don't lose my 50/50 on Topaz. I'm looking forward to trying a Clara/Topaz/Lynx/Tingyun team. Should work very well~

After 60 whole pulls on Fu Xuans banner as an F2P, I FINALLY got me my lynx, with my absolute GOATED e1 clara. Time for some building, and then some beautiful, beautiful counters. Swarm disaster has never looked so easy…
A healer with cleanse means you don't necessarily need buffs or debuffers. You can go Preserve, Abundance combo and with no ability to debuff the team - enemies will not be able to do enough damage to overcome the healing and defense. Then put in two high level DPS and good game.
I feel like Lynx and March 7th go amazingly with Clara due to their chance boost of Clara getting hit. I want to run a team of Aventurine, March/Lynx, Robin/Jade and Clara since as a new player I lost my Aventurine 50/50 on her and got her on the Beginner Banner so currently I have her E1 that allows her to keep Svarog's mark on enemies who attack her, which I think could be amazing for Boss Enemies.
Once Topaz gets released she can make clara be even more powerful since Topaz buffs follow up attacks and if your team does a follow up attack she also does a follow up attack, so she not only contributes in buffing she also contributes in damaging.
7:08 luka can actually dispel buffs too, it's locked behind his a2 trace. I've been using sustain, luka, sampo, kafka team on those big spear dudes that can regen, very useful.
I don't think people sleep on clara tho, she probably 2nd best standard banner characters right now after bronya. and destruction unit is overall a good dps in any situation.
I think people who test and play clara know her value but it doesn’t seem like many (or as many as other characters) give her a shot But yeah she’s definitely gained a lot of traction over time
If I recall correctly, Luka is the 3rd character that can dispel enemies. As he's coming up again with Topaz and Seele, maybe people will have access to him, especially new players that couldn't get Pela...

He's had no main story impact at all, and outside of helping Kafka vs. Physical enemies seems to be forgotten in the meta as well. Hopefully he gets some shine in 1.4 to remind people he exists. I'd use him more, but I only got a single copy (got 3 each Serval/Sampo, even though both were E6 going into the banner, as per your discussion earlier about targeting 4*'s on Limited banners.) Would love to see you use him a showcase at some point since he's such an ignored character, he definitely needs some love.
I got my first 30 star MoC thanks to having Clara. And then using Lynx to force aggro on her, or, if Lynx's healing isn't enough just use Luocha, put a Fire MC Lynx duo on the other team for the same survivability. Lynx can already do so much, but at the same time I have to avoid using skill on DHIL unless I have to XD
At around 6:57 you say "she has a dispel" and I think you're still talking about Pela's enemy buff dispel, but then you say that she and Luocha are the only ones who have this. I'm not familiar with Luoach, but I thought he only had an ally debuff dispel (maybe he has both). I think Luka has the same on his skill if I'm not mistaken. But I may have misunderstood what you were saying in that part.
I think the reason why tingyun still has higher aggro than any character is because of tingyun`s skill y`know when your character affected with her skill attacks someone he also receives electro dmg so i think when your character is attacking tingyun is also attacking is registered as an aggro increase or it might be a bug that her aggro increases when someone is affected by her skill but yeah it`s still shitty
My Bronya is also being targeted but we notice it more on tingyun cuz she has to be built with atk and no defensive item. So she easily dies from 2 to 4 hits.
I legit ran a team of Fire MC, Natasha, March 7th and Clara on a run through Simulated Universe, all level 60 btw, and got all the way to third and final phase of Gepard (level 67), at which point I got defeated. Once Natasha was downed this just started to crumble (she fell at the end of 2nd phase). Since Clara had Parasitized status she would keep loosing HP, and with no healing to offset that she too would eventually fall. March 7th fell shortly after Nat and before Clara. MC fell last, because of higher defense and because he couldn't exactly deal with three high-level and bulky enemies without fire weakness on his own. Well, a few various buffs helped with getting that far, as I doubt I would have gotten as far as I did if I didn't get that HP increase blessing from Destruction and the robe that boosts damage based on number of fragments and fighting spirit blessing and Parasitized on the main damage dealer of the team. Because the Elites I faced didn't have Physical weakness (Ice though, but March isn't exactly a potent damage dealer) the fights reached the point where Berserk state would kick in, but I'd defeat them after like 2nd stack XD I'm gonna do all I can to beef Nat and Clara up (Nat's HP, defense and healing, Clara's HP, attack and defense) and attempt it again, even if the run could take over an hour haha

atm she has 4k hp and and about 3k atk
and my god is it a breath of fresh air not seeing her on the brink of death after 2 hits

tingyun is a grown up clara when svarog left since she can already protect herself i guess. that explains why she gets hit more. my tingyun be having the exact same problem like wtf

For that attack you weren't sure about, I believe it would count as a bounce attack, where the first hit is targeted but the rest are random
if you mean the attack where the ascended hits several times its basically like asta's or sampo's skill, just a bounce attack, its just likely gonna hit the character with the highest taunt value but the 2nd hit and after all hits random targets

topaz tingyun clara and lynx would be a great team. topaz having that buff to follow up attacks that clara can maintain it for 100% of the time and topaz being buffed with either tingyun or asta wouldl be a great dual dps team where both do good damage
looking forward to them , plus I will be fighting the urge to pull fu xuan even tho moc hits hard but maybe luocha can make it

Pela was free for Aeternium Wars while it was current, and Lynx is now a permanent freebie when clearing certain content.
*Natasha and Luka can also do debuff dispel, and so can March thanks to their talents
oh i think we're talking about different things! cleanse is different from dispel - cleanse is removing a debuff from ally, dispel is removing a buff from an enemy

Nice! I was planning to do this with Jingliu and Lynx. I have Lynx E2 and Clara's lightcone was my first 5* pull from standard. I was going to give her Longevous for more sustain (and it's so efficient to farm). With Lynx she will proc the 2nd passive requiring less crit substats and all the Clara lightcone buffs.
You are right ...I learned my lesson in the first year of Genshin to not go for a 4* unless I was willing to get the 5*. It hurt.

Luka also has a purge, which tends to be forgotten about when his role is often completely different
I also sometimes feel like there is an HP bias to enemy attacks, like having lower a lower numerical hp stat influences what characters are targetted

from what i gather, tingyun's unexpected enmity occurs from that her buff to your main 'dps' is not a buff to the dps attack; but rather appends a 'bonus action' attack of tingyun to the attack of main attacker. thus the 2nd attack from her buff adds agro/enmity to tingyun and not to the dps
further: preservation/destruction units have an increased (not guranteed) chance of getting attacked; gurantee requires a successful taunt
yeah i think one of the only sources of guaranteed taunt right now is fire mc's skill (once you have enough ehr to land it lol)

Clara basically works really well with anyone,
+ Luocha = Forever auto heal
+Lynx= Easier COunter
+Fu Xuan= Even much tankier
She is really versatile character, can be used as subdps, tank, hypercarry... Def one of the best standard character to pull.
completely agree - you can honestly slot her in on any team and she's very self sufficient. can even just basic attack on her
7:08 Luka can actually dispel! with his skill and with the trace "Kinetic Overload" you can dispel enemy buffs which is pretty useful too since his skill applies bleed

I've been using Lynx with Blade, they work so well together.
Then when I was considering if I wanna get Jingliu or Topaz, I pulled a Clara from the Standard Banner. Hoyo making these choices for me. Fingers crossed I don't lose my 50/50 on Topaz.

@@artumbo Funny story; got a 5★ on first 10 pull, and it was Topaz. Then I got her LC since I had some wishes left. Neither were at full pity. I guess Hoyo is once again telling me I'm a Topaz main.
After 60 whole pulls on Fu Xuans banner as an F2P, I FINALLY got me my lynx, with my absolute GOATED e1 clara. Time for some building, and then some beautiful, beautiful counters. Swarm disaster has never looked so easy…

A healer with cleanse means you don't necessarily need buffs or debuffers. You can go Preserve, Abundance combo and with no ability to debuff the team - enemies will not be able to do enough damage to overcome the healing and defense. Then put in two high level DPS and good game.

I feel like Lynx and March 7th go amazingly with Clara due to their chance boost of Clara getting hit. I want to run a team of Aventurine, March/Lynx, Robin/Jade and Clara since as a new player I lost my Aventurine 50/50 on her and got her on the Beginner Banner so currently I have her E1 that allows her to keep Svarog's mark on enemies who attack her, which I think could be amazing for Boss Enemies.
Once Topaz gets released she can make clara be even more powerful since Topaz buffs follow up attacks and if your team does a follow up attack she also does a follow up attack, so she not only contributes in buffing she also contributes in damaging.
Gonna be awesome to try them together!

7:08 luka can actually dispel buffs too, it's locked behind his a2 trace. I've been using sustain, luka, sampo, kafka team on those big spear dudes that can regen, very useful.

I don't think people sleep on clara tho, she probably 2nd best standard banner characters right now after bronya. and destruction unit is overall a good dps in any situation.
I think people who test and play clara know her value but it doesn’t seem like many (or as many as other characters) give her a shot
But yeah she’s definitely gained a lot of traction over time
I think the standard character banner rating would be something like :
Bronya - Gepard - Bailu/Clara - Welt/Yan Qing - Himeko

@@artumbo Don't feel bad, everyone else seems to have forgotten he even exists, lol. He's had no main story impact at all, and outside of helping Kafka vs. Physical enemies seems to be forgotten in the meta as well. Hopefully he gets some shine in 1.4 to remind people he exists.
I'd use him more, but I only got a single copy (got 3 each Serval/Sampo, even though both were E6 going into the banner, as per your discussion earlier about targeting 4*'s on Limited banners.)
Would love to see you use him a showcase at some point since he's such an ignored character, he definitely needs some love.
I got my first 30 star MoC thanks to having Clara. And then using Lynx to force aggro on her, or, if Lynx's healing isn't enough just use Luocha, put a Fire MC Lynx duo on the other team for the same survivability. Lynx can already do so much, but at the same time I have to avoid using skill on DHIL unless I have to XD

At around 6:57 you say "she has a dispel" and I think you're still talking about Pela's enemy buff dispel, but then you say that she and Luocha are the only ones who have this. I'm not familiar with Luoach, but I thought he only had an ally debuff dispel (maybe he has both). I think Luka has the same on his skill if I'm not mistaken. But I may have misunderstood what you were saying in that part.
Luocha can indeed cleanse allies' debuffs (one ally at a time via skill) AND dispel enemies' buffs (all enemies via ult). Dope healer, I love him.

I think the reason why tingyun still has higher aggro than any character is because of tingyun`s skill y`know when your character affected with her skill attacks someone he also receives electro dmg so i think when your character is attacking tingyun is also attacking is registered as an aggro increase or it might be a bug that her aggro increases when someone is affected by her skill but yeah it`s still shitty
My Bronya is also being targeted but we notice it more on tingyun cuz she has to be built with atk and no defensive item. So she easily dies from 2 to 4 hits.
Yeah she can realistically only eat a couple hits

I legit ran a team of Fire MC, Natasha, March 7th and Clara on a run through Simulated Universe, all level 60 btw, and got all the way to third and final phase of Gepard (level 67), at which point I got defeated. Once Natasha was downed this just started to crumble (she fell at the end of 2nd phase).
Since Clara had Parasitized status she would keep loosing HP, and with no healing to offset that she too would eventually fall. March 7th fell shortly after Nat and before Clara. MC fell last, because of higher defense and because he couldn't exactly deal with three high-level and bulky enemies without fire weakness on his own.
Well, a few various buffs helped with getting that far, as I doubt I would have gotten as far as I did if I didn't get that HP increase blessing from Destruction and the robe that boosts damage based on number of fragments and fighting spirit blessing and Parasitized on the main damage dealer of the team.
Because the Elites I faced didn't have Physical weakness (Ice though, but March isn't exactly a potent damage dealer) the fights reached the point where Berserk state would kick in, but I'd defeat them after like 2nd stack XD
I'm gonna do all I can to beef Nat and Clara up (Nat's HP, defense and healing, Clara's HP, attack and defense) and attempt it again, even if the run could take over an hour haha
