Nicky Cass speed round at the end of his test was hilarious
Jack was one point away from being considered illiterate.
"I was never medicated in school" - Jack Doyle
Nicky is me on a test. Trying to convince myself the answer I chose is right and ultimately going fuck it. 🤣 this dude is so me 😂 💜
Nicky is hilarious 😂😂😂😂 first question:
"One goes 6 meters east the other goes 6 ah fuck " he knew he was in trouble 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭
"You scored a 44. You're smarter than Eric Decker, he scored a 43." Take that Eric Decker. You thought you could hide forever. No way, son.
Dalton the secret genius? There we go!
Zo at the beginning saying “a IQ test” is hilarious to me
rough timing for the brett favre comparison 😂😂😂
44, which is "...smarter than Eric Decker, he scored a 43." The questions were silly. Thank goodness they got rid of this.
I love how it basically comes down to "screw it, let's guess"
It’s crazy that this was a measuring point for how good you can be at football. Not a single one of these questions have anything to do with football.
Not a single one has anything to do with intelligence or IQ either. It’s a speed reading test. How fast you read doesn’t correlate with intelligence. How well you comprehend what you read does. Dumbass test it pisses me off
PRO. That was the three letter word added to the beginning of the other words.
I was pretty PROud of myself for getting that one.
I got a 22 my first and 36 my second. It really is all about speed. The second time I was more ballpark and vibes than what is definitely the right answer
I thought “Thwart” meant to prevent and that’s what the first definition said but then Merriam-Webster said “to oppose successfully” so who knows
Both of these are valid definitions, preventing and successfully opposing something can mean the same thing. If you look up synonyms prevent will be there.
Took the test before I watched and lemme tell ya, I'm living proof that having a degree does not mean you are smart
They only give you 6 minutes to answer 25 questions, which is really not that much time when you have to read the question, come up with the answer, and either type or click it. So it's way more of a time thing than a smarts thing
Yeah this is more a speed reading test than an intelligence test. They’re giving you 14 seconds for each question. That’s crazy.
Now, I know it's tempting to think of the Jomboy Media guys as a bunch of dumb jocks, but this video definitely disproves that theory.
I got a 36, not gonna lie that was much harder than I thought it would be lol.
They’re giving you 14 seconds for each question so it makes sense that most people would fail no matter intelligence as it’s just a test of how fast you can read, which doesn’t map to how smart someone is.
Seems like Clowney needs a job at Jomboy 😂
Assuming all questions are worth the same points, I thik a key here is to know when to skip a question. Some of these are basic reading, and some involve time-consuming calculations.
Not gonna lie, the guy who feels the smartest in general had the highest score. It’s weird how intelligent people give off smart person aura.
"yes...that do" - Zo
Zo they gave you a calculator what are you doing? Lol
36 - Aaron Rodgers - I'll take it. Kind of cheating as I watched the whole video first, and some of the questions were included here. But I'll take it.
Actually it was "You're smarter than Aaron Rodgers, who scored a 35." Lol.
is the volume all over the place with Dalton for anyone else?
Now i understand why MLB Pickle is so difficult for this crew....
Zo is by far the most surprising here😂
28. In good company with Zo and Drew Brees
Did I miss an episode? 40, rec. Gauntlet, and wonderlick, what was episode 4?
They posted the passing challenge on the JM Football channel for some reason.
@@shawnaroo Thank you, it's not even showing in the recommended videos for me.
Good job math proudly immediately after failing it
I guess this wasnt supposed to come out before the accuracy video?

One half (1/2) of 600 is 300, one fifth(1/5) of 300 is 60. One third(1/3) of 60 is 20.
Math.
And no, 14/35 in lowest terms is not 2/7, it is 2/5. Lol (14÷7=2 / 35÷7=5)
Love yas though!
All of yas!
Reminds me of the old madden games lmfao
You scored a 36. You’re smarter than Aaron Rodgers, he scored a 35.”
As a person who despises the Packers and his family because they love the Packers, suck it
It is genuinely not likely to be able do this in 6 minutes without a calculator, no matter how smart you are. It’s hardly possible with a calculator. Just reading/comprehending the questions and answers would take most people 6 minutes, and being a speed reader is not correlated with intelligence.
8 minutes would be better. I get that it’s pretty much just testing for literacy, so not having to take too long to read is a part of it, but 19 seconds per question is not a *long* time.
For most of those math problems, if you're using a calculator you're doing it wrong.
There are a few exceptions. However, for something like find the average of all the integers between 17 and 55, you just needed to do (17 + 55)/2 = 36, which none of them figured out.
One question was basically just straight asking what 18 * 22 is. Using a calculator would be fine and quick. It's faster to rewrite it as (20 - 2)(20 + 2) = 20² - 2² = 400 - 4 = 396. However, that's not something normal people would recognize.
I had a question that was dividing 36 by 2.25 and truncating, if necessary. Again, a calculator is fine there and fast, but some could do it faster without it.
I tried it before watching, but didn't know to keep a separate timer. I "finished" it, but ended up skipping two of the what 3- or 5-letter words could be put in front of this list because I didn't get it instantly and I had no idea how long they would take. I'm fairly certain were the only two I got wrong. I don't know how much time I had left, but I doubt it was very much. I haven't taken standardized-ish tests like this in many years, so I was at a disadvantage there. However, I did know things like T was the 20th letter of the alphabet, so R must be 18th...which put me at an advantage over normal people.
I will note that the time constraint is one of the few things that seems applicable to football as it requires critical thinking skills and decision making in terms of how long to spend on a specific question. The speed reading is also applicable in being able to process quickly and knowing what words you can skip, while under pressure. That it's extremely difficult to finish is a feature, not a bug.
Now, if they cared, athletes taking the test at the combine would have taken some practice tests, which would help them better judge the time. I don't know if they got to see a timer or not.
Regardless, yes, the test is largely BS and misused.
[I realize I'm very late to this video. However, I didn't want that calculator/math comment to go unchallenged. I also recognize that very few people will read this and care.]
I got 36
"I'm bad at tests" just means you're not very smart.
Test not easy
Loved the series. I scored a 40.
What a lame humblebrag
Justin, 44 has two 4s.
40....smart as Carson Wentz....that doesn't seem great
Jacks use of pemdas was superb
Oh word
The bar is set incredibly low
Am I crazy or is this only the third video?
We did a passing accuracy challenge on the JM Football channel! ua-cam.com/video/UZliXfpUAiY/v-deo.html
I usually get a 36-40. 44 is beastly that's a 145-150 IQ all day
This is so funny! I can laugh because I took this exam after college seeking a career in corporate banking! I scored a 35! This was 50 years ago after a successful career in corporate, international baking as an economist. The real issue is working under pressure with a time constraint. I would hate to take that test over again as my brain is now in retirement mode and I don’t give a F!😅😂
I got a 41 without using a calculator cause I didn't know you could use one. Then I saw Penik using one and now I'm mad 😂
4th event? 🤔
We competed in a passing accuracy challenge on the JM Football channel! ua-cam.com/video/UZliXfpUAiY/v-deo.html
40 yard dash, Passing challenge, receiving challenge, this.
@@JustinPenik ohhh. Thank you. 👍
I took the full 50-question test and got a 42.
I scored a thirty-six.
Genuinely curious how results are scored. I assume you get more credit for more right answers, even if you complete fewer questions?
Edit: Rob proved yes. He only answered half the questions but had a higher score than several people who made it all the way through.
It’s just correct answers times 2
I scored a 32
I'll take a 34
Got a 35 like Aaron rogers
38. As smart as Colin Kaepernick.
I beat Dalton by one. I don't know what that means.
This was painful to watch. That was a whole lot of dumb
I got a 42. I'm smarter than Calvin Johnson
It's good that they give jobs to the special needs.
Fellow commenters: Nobody cares what you scored. You're a random person on the internet.
I scored a 24
Wow this was a waste of time …. I feel like you guys didn’t take it seriously because you’d have to see comments below wondering why nfl players are barely literate
Did the nfl players only get 6 minutes?
Nickys was actually a lot easier
