Thanks for sharing your modifications of these tools.
$1 store red nail polish makes good budget loctite and cable marking paint.
I really like the subtle background music too.
Leatherman should watch all your videos! Specially this one. Thank you for the video.
From my searches, those style of tweezers are called "eyelash tweezers" or "lash tweezers". Cant really seem to find them in titanium, but there are some anti-static stainless versions
Now I know what I did wrong. Thank you for showing & sharing. Cheers mate.
Hi friend video invested thank you for that! I have a question for you. I pulled out hard and broke a part that looks like something you can take out to put a shoelace on, but the Halderman works well for some reason, do you recommend fixing it or leaving it like that?
Wanting to do the exact same upgrade. Reason being... I don't like the serrated blade, and as you said, I already have access to scissors. Im looking to get the T4, which has scissors on it. So if I carry the modded P2, and the T4, I could have all the tools I need.
Just threw a saw into my P2 thanks for your help!
thumbs up for the swatch body and soul!
The standard torx bits was the subtle nod from Leatherman to make what we want! Also the common locking mechanism for all of the tools.
Good job Mr Max😊
Oh by the way I really like what you been doing a little bit more on the multi-tool modding is awesome😂
question, looking at getting the p4 one thing I would like to change is the file, do you think/know if I can make the file from the Wave (not wave+) fit in the P4? looking for a full length file
Qué bueno que puedas hacer estas modificaciones.
Gracias por tus videos.
Can i remove a pivot from the tool? Will it still work without a pivot?
Thanks ! 👍👍👍
Being a leatherman (and seiko) fan boy. Would you say buy the leathermans to mod? Like the seiko community. Or mod because you’ve already got them. Keep up the vids.
No...frankly it takes a special type of disregard for the money aspect to Mod a tool to this extent. I make money on the content, on the links...I have tons of spare parts, and I feel like I can fix anything rather than send it into warranty. Because of this I would rather have exactly what I want in my pocket...not an OK tool.
Would it be possible to do that on P2 but keep scissors removing file, awl and bottle opener?
Are you trying to get another long tool? No, only 2 long implements are possible
Yeap, I was thinking in put the saw and scissors in the same side, insted of that bunch of small tools that have no use for me. But thanks for the info, save me a lot of time and effort.
do you have a link to that table vise you are using?
@@maxlvledc yeah I checked the modding list on amazon first, but i did not see the vise in there
Can I swap the knife and scissors with no mods? I'm left handed.
The blade no problem..issue is that the scissors will be reversed..but it may still be OK honestly
Sorry so late, I just watched this video....I bought the P2 the very day it was released and I love it! I swapped the blade and scissors because I too am left handed. The only problem is that now the scissors smooth side makes it hard to open. A small piece of skateboard grip tape more makes the scissors easy to open. The only true left handed Leatherman now!
Ahhh Knipex. You are a man of culture. 👌🏻
@@maxlvledcyeah man I’ve heard it pronounced so many ways. Great tools for sure tho. I’m in the plumbing trade and can’t go a day without my Knipex tools or my left hand modded Leatherman P2.
You can easily make your own pressurized air can : ua-cam.com/video/_wO3Jpglj1E/v-deo.html
Those screws are actually t10 well the free p2 are
I wish I could still do this. My hands are so shaky now. Getting old sucks.
👍
Engineer Titanium Tweezers PTN-03 Amazon both straight and bent
Pressurized air!
Interesting. Certainly an improvement on the P2, and yep, must be a P3.
I use the serrated blade and scissors, but rarely use the plain edge blade. Unlike you, I carry knives--not scissors.
I can’t believe you would take a p2 over a p4 lol
@@appleztooranges I prefer the P2 to P4 too - I carried a MUT for years and never used the saw and the serrated blade isn't really necessary if you keep the regular blade sharp (and the P2 has the combo blade anyway if I really, really need something serrated).
You can't do this with Victorinox !
That's why I'll never buy a riveted multitool !
Unless i missed something i dont get the point of switching the stuff around and sanding the edges makes no sense unless you have sensitive girly hands
Yes you indeed must have missed something to not understand the point of this. I think it was stated in another video. Just made everything more to his preferance
5:10 you go to fun parties if using two t-handles but with the ratcheting one stationery is a party trick :P
