Philippians 2:12-13 -Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. God doesn’t just guide us; He shapes our desires and then equips us to carry out His purposes. He instills in us the desire to live righteously and gives us strength to overcome our weaknesses. “We are saved by the grace of God and by faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. The gospel of Satan teaches salvation by works. It’s a sacramental phrase, “be good and do good” but fails to recognize that in the flesh there dwelleth no good thing.”- Arthur Pink
Yes. Even the demons believe. Sometimes we take God’s grace for granted. But even our thoughts are sinful . That’s why it’s important to pray without ceasing. Asking the Holy Spirit for guidance. Lots of us need deliverance and should practice fasting on a regular basis. Myself included.
@ yes, agreed! I should fast more often too. I do intermittent fasting almost every day, but I need to do a proper spiritual fast, not just for physical health 🙏✝️🤍

I find it ridiculous that there are Christains who don't agree with what you said in this video. To me it seems extremely obvious that we should definitely strive to never sin again no matter how hard that might be. Anyone who doesn't isn't really repenting. But even if you sin again after you repent that doesn't mean that its not repentance. The key is to TRY your absolute hardest to never sin again. Just because you try doesn't always mean that you will succeed.
Amen and well done!! Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ God bless 🙏
Precisely, almost thought it was that type of video in support of the new free grace movement lol, even though there are a hundred fold more verses speaking about repentance. One of my favorites is Revelation 22:14 where Yeshua says, 14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the authority to the tree of life and may enter by the gates into the city. If "free grace" was as they say, then why would we need to wash our robes, the robes being the "fine linen" we will be given. Yahuah be with you.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord isn't slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering towards us, Not willing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
If you believe what you think that verse says, that to stop sinning makes you go to Heaven you're dead wrong. That's like a criminal telling a judge, "I stopped committing crimes; therefore, you can't send me to prison." We are judged based on what we have already done, which is sin. Even a lie will you send you Hell. Not lying anymore doesn't make you not accountable for the past lies. The Lord is saying to believe on Him for salvation in 2 Peter 3:9. John 3:16 is the most famous verse in the entire Bible. The reason being is because it explains simply how to have eternal life. Belief on Jesus Christ, not stop sinning. Repent means to change one's mind.

She is correct. No verse ever says to keep on sinning. When I saw this video thumbnail I was gonna be very unhappy till I saw it. Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? 1 John 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. 1 John 3:9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. John 5:14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.” Mark 9:43-48 And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, ‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’ (This was NOT a parable or a figure of speech) 1 Cor 6:9-11 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such WERE some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Peter 1:16 since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” Matthew 5:48 You therefore must be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect. 1 John 2:6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. Do you have to be perfect to get saved? No of course not. But after you are saved you need to walk like Jesus.

@@JamesStansell Unfortunately most people only know whatever their pastor preaches. I came to the LORD never having read a Bible or been to church. I praise God I was not raised in church filled with false theology and bad doctrine. Nothing but his pure word is written on my heart. God bless you 🙏
You mix faith plus works together. Many of those verses state what we should do, but not a condition of salvation. If you believe that in order to go to heaven you must keep doing good works your faith is dependent on you yourself. My faith is dependent on the one who purchased me, Christ Jesus the solid foundation. Not my works or "living" a "good" life. 1 Corinithians 6:9-11 applies to non-Christians. Anyone who is "Christian" is born-again spiritually. And just like literal/water birth you cannot become "unborn." It only occurs once. We need to place ALL our FAITH on what Jesus did for us, not what we do for him. He gave his life up for us, not the other way around.
nowhere in the bible does it say repent of your sins. Repenting of all the sins you can remember off the top of your head becomes a work. Is Jesus not enough? It wasn't enough but now that I've gone sack cloth and ashes, now it's enough? If someone says they can go around sinning as much as they want because they are forgiven that is an untenable position. It's more like the war we are still apart of that Paul talks about in Romans 7. All other world religions teach repentance of sins, they are works based salvation, "If my good out weighs the bad God will forgive me" "he understands" Essentially putting faith in themselves and not Jesus. Putting your faith in Jesus is repentance. Changing your mind, turning from living ones life for themselves and selfish desires, and putting Jesus on the throne of your heart.
Rom7 talks about a law of God that helps the believer to life a blameless life of Phil2:15, 2Pet3:14, and 1The5:23. A blameless life is motivated by Father God's goodness that leads us to repentance, bearing fruit worthy of repentance. Rom7:21-25 "I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mindlf serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." This law of God and law in the flesh are named in Rom8:2. Rom8:2. "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Rom6:14 says this "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." Rom6:14 can be paraphrased as follow: "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law of sin and death in the flesh , but under grace of the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus operating in the mind."
good outweighing bad has nothing to do with repentance of sins, that's like trying to purchase forgiveness for your bad deeds by doing something good. repentance of sins is to not do that/stop doing that which you know is wrong/bad in the eyes of God

@flowersandlace The key word in 1John 3: 9 is "SEED" which remains with you. Seed = Word (germ of new life). I John 1:7-10 [7] But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. [8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
@@GraceLibrary1You aren't qualified to say that she is not born of God, just because she said: "I do sin sometimes". What's the reason for repentance! Thanks, really great. Jesus Christ is the empowerment over sin. God is with love and faith in motion, even if there is sin present. However, there are consequences to sin, so we must keep a short list with God and live a penitent life, humbly representing reconciliation to God and God's joy and forgiveness. Beyond this, we should search scripture and God's heart for the height, width, and depth of God and His love, embracing the deeper things of God without shame. Then we can be present in His authority and joy. God bless!
If you had to repent of sins (turn from sins) to be saved, thats living a certain way, thats what youre doing, how youre living, thats works, works don't save Yes we need to repent. But Not Of Sins. It Never Says To Repent Of Sins In The Salvation Context, Never. Repenting is going from unbelief to belief. You need to repent (change your mind), from believing and preaching a false gospel, to the true gospel. that's what repenting is, a change of mind.
Repent does not mean to explicitly “turn from sins” it simply means to feel regret/remorse for the sins. Yes it often is associated with an act of turning from the sin but the actual word does not mean that. So given the definition of the word, each verse she brought up does make sense in talking about feeling repentance for sins. I agree belief in the gospels is so so very important. But you can not discount the need for feeling contrite for your sins. The only unforgivable sin is not accepting Gods mercy for us. Thanks for reading!!
@@tylerreeves-zk9pj no, you do not need to feel remorse for sin to be saved. You simply need to trust Christ alone. OP is right, repent means to change your mind from unbelief to belief. ^^^^^^ We cannot earn salvation, which is what repenting of sins to be saved is trying to do. Jesus died for us because of this. Repenting of sins to be saved is basically saying "The infinite value of Jesus' sacrifice isn't enough, I need to turn from my sins on top of that". There's only grace and works. Alike how theres God & the Devil, Jesus Christ and the Antichrist, the Holy Spirit and the False Prophet, etc. When you believe faith alone isn't enough, you add the only other thing that there can be, which is works. works which don't save, and which cancel grace, as the Bible says. ua-cam.com/video/hqZbVdvG-O4/v-deo.html This video talks about 7 common works-based salvations, repenting of sins being one of them, try it out, those who try to repent of sins to be saved.
Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Salvation is by Grace through faith. ROYS (repent of your sins) are works. If you believe roys for salvation than you are rejecting God's free Grace. Oh and btw, no one has ever repented of their sins (that's why we need a Savior).
@harryevans8087 very common im misinterpretation of those verses! 😊 Paul what speaking to the Ephesians, as we know. The Ephesians were continuing to abide by the old covenant / law so Paul told them that the old law does not justify them, it is faith in Jesus Christ, the new covenant. The “works” he is speaking of aren’t obeying the (NT) Word of God, it’s the old law. We must obey the WoG. Jesus calls us to repentance.
@@flowersandlace You reject both God's Word and basic English. You have no comprehension of what Grace is and also what a gift is. Repentance means to change ones mind. You need to change your mind about your false repentance and put your faith on Christ only.
Stop twisting Ephesians 2:8-9 and read verse 10. You are required to do the good works that God ordained, meaning you keep the sabbath, abstain from pork, and rebuke God's people doing pagan god worship 🎅🎄🐰🎃. The gospel isn't that you sit and be lazy until we float to heaven.
@@GraceLibrary1 In Galatians 3:19, Paul clarifies that the law he's talking about is sacrificial law, like stoning and circumcision. Keeping the 10 commandments was written before the gold cow incident as Deuteronomy 5:22 states, so you still must keep sabbath and not eat pork (Genesis 7:2).
@@GraceLibrary1 The tree that doesn't produce fruit is cut down. If your "faith" does not produce obedience it is false and won't save you. Yes you do need to have faith but you need to repent of your sins. Sinning is not okay if Jesus didn't die on the cross then our sins can't be repented
I used to sin 1 time a week or more, then I got busy and didn’t have time to sin, but today I had much spare time (I mean I didn’t do what I was supposed to do) so I sinned today.
Even though I agree with you I think that saying its not impossible to stop sinning should be avoided at all costs, it puts a bad taste in peoples mouth and really undermines history as we know it, I know you put the edit in there but it really gives the holier than thou feeling which is something an unbeliever will grasp onto and never let go.
The non-believers already use our sins against us. They label us hypocrites and move on. True repentance is a life that is an example of living the Word through our lives. We are supposed to be unique. We will be ridiculed, mocked, etc.. It's not my choice how I should react to these entanglements. If I live in faith, I will abide and turn the other cheek, pray/bless, and love my enemy. Repentance is abiding and living in faith, and we should teach and admonish ourselves as the Body of Christ.
@@flowersandlace I'm not saying that you shouldn't preach the truth but the explanation is just bad. Just because God forgives and forgets doesn't mean it's entirely erased, your sin still has consequences and affects everyone in the world and those who practice what they preach still sin willingly they just have God trying to convince them not to, even as a Christian you still have free will, the key is to seek God in all things even though it's against our nature.
@Curt52 you are literally backing up what I label the "well, you just can't help yourself" sermon. What is the alternative? Have a general belief and then go about your day? She's rebuking what is preached that you don't have to repent. Which is a very prominent doctrine. No one is saying that it's not a struggle or that it doesn't take time. Nor do we say that we don't make mistakes. But recognizing and repenting is required for the person who wants to abide. True conversion to God. Not telling everyone in the sowers of the seed parable that they are saved. Which they are not.
@@WatchingUntiltheEnd The thing is we just said the same thing in two different ways. The argument is that the sinless life is indeed impossible no matter how you slice it but your right it doesn't mean that you shouldn't try. Repent means to change one's mind or belief. The Lord "repented" more times in the Bible than any other character. Which makes sense since his Word is about Him. We must repent of our wrong faith/religion/gospels and believe his gospel(good news) that his Son Jesus Christ did the work for us which we can never do. "Repenting of sins" is actually found zero places in scripture if you read the KJV. I am not stating we ought not stop sinning or not do good deeds(works). We should but it is not a condition to our eternal life. We go to Heaven based upon our grace through faith not our works. Repenting of sins is work, anything that takes work is by definition a "work." Belief is not work. You don't work on changing your own beliefs. How many churches will say that baptism is a work and not important? I've heard it. I've also heard pastors say that they will never baptize in the name of Jesus, because it is wrong. that's what repenting is, a change of mind.
Repent does not mean to explicitly “turn from sins” it simply means to feel regret/remorse for the sins. So given the definition of the word, each verse she brought up does make sense in talking about feeling repentance for sins. I agree belief in the gospels is so so very important. @@muscledollpuckyou can make up many excuses but you must always remember what He said "if you commit sin your are a slave to sin" God never sinned so stop twisting that Jesus never sinned and when God repented in the Old Testament He wasn’t repenting from sin but was changing His mind because we either where terrible to God’s heart and broke it which made Him want to repent of making of or other things like that

Christianity in the age of social media
Christians - I'm going to go online and find some random person that I know absolutely nothing about to tell me what to believe and how to live my life.
Other Christians - Great idea! I did the same thing. Except, I chose a different person because yours doesn't tell me exactly what I want to hear.
Meanwhile -
God - That's not how any of this is supposed to work 🤦♂️
@@FOHguy lol 😆 I agree entirely
Your video title is a little bit click baity, but I do agree with what you said about repentance and sin.
@@Heiwaki haha i suppose it is indeed “clickbaity”. Only because I didn’t put quotation marks on the three statements 🤪
we might as well remove our sexual organs ! that way god does not hate us for what we do ! marriage is only for successful people that make money and not all of us can do that ! we are all different ! if we get rejected by god even though we love him so be it, we do everything we can to the best of our ability's to have Jesus Christ in our life's !
Don't do anything crazy bro, your body is a gift. While many marriages by "Successful" people fail they fail mainly because of spiritual problems not financial, as they are only "Successful" in worldly terms, in many if not most successful marriages the couples do well no matter how rich or poor they are because they trust in Christ more than their bank accounts. Also its completely fine if marriage isn't the path for you, as most of the apostles were unmarried, there are even monks and nuns in the Orthodox church that even in modern times live lives that serve Christ without being married. May God Bless you bro!🙏☦
@Julian_Films I comprehend what ur saying on the message and remember only Jesus is the way through God , every other man made religion was created by Satan, but of course we do need physical and spiritual success , I do the best I can to respect people, but I have jealousy and what not ! If God rejects us for all the sinner we did , oh well we did the best we can, I still follow Jesus Christ ...
@@Julian_Films again there's no point in having sexual organs ! Something's are just ridiculous man.. if I die a virgin then oh well ! But even with that , let's see how this goes ...
@@RideLight777 Please consider the value that sex and reproduction provides not only to God's plan but especially to individual lives. Sex is not a sin. If it was, then you would be right and there would be no point in having sexual organs. Sex is ordained and encouraged within the context of marriage between man and woman. If you are worried about never getting married, consider what Jesus said to his disciples:
"And seek ye not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." -Luke 12: 29-32.
God created people with the need of other people. Your Father in Heaven knows that you have need of relationships, happiness, and a family. One promise he gives to you: seek his kingdom and you will be given those things. Would you rather find an apple or apple tree? An apple will feed you once, but a tree will feed you forever. I bid you; seek the tree, not the fruit. "Come unto him and partake of his fruit, for his memorial is sweeter than honey, and his inheritance than the honeycomb. They that eat of him shall yet hunger, and they that drink of him shall yet thirst." -Sirach 24:19-21 (KJV).

Repentance = to turn away from sin and unto God. It is a little bit off the topic, but did you notice what you read in Acts 2:38? I think that it is terribly important. How many churches will say that baptism is a work and not important? I've heard it. I've also heard pastors say that they will never baptize in the name of Jesus, because it is wrong. Well, if it is wrong, what is it doing in the Bible? At pentecost all of the apostles were there when Peter said it. If he were wrong, wouldn't on of them said, wait a minute...? You strike me as the kind of young woman that reads scripture and is willing to question what is going on around you based on it. I am not trying to step on your toes and point my finger at you.. Imagine me as an old friend saying in a very kind and loving tone.., what do you think about this? It is not baptismal regeneration, it is about identification..
Acts 2:38- save your Soul before It's too late.
Hi sister true message, but the headlines on the picture makes it seem like it's ok..
@@TonyZagr i know 😅 it’s basically “clickbait” because i didn’t add quotation marks to the statements
@flowersandlace what if I was a little kid (like even adults should be by the teachings of Jesus) who believed everything and didn't know it's a bait or sarcasm?
@flowersandlace best if you would add a word "wrong" in there! So, every person can know it's wrong just by glance. True leading not misleading from the start.

Can you lose your salvation?
I lost mine
I used to be Christian in 2020, and got baptized.
Then I read the bible, now I don’t want to be Christian, because I think too much rules, I don’t want to follow the rules.
My dad now say I’m satanist, since I don’t want to follow the rules in the bible.
I follow satan, but problem is, almost all my relatives are Christians, so I try stay low profile about it.
Because they get mad when I say I don’t want to be Christian, I want to do whatever I want.
Currently I make Christian content on my UA-cam channel.
People assume I’m Christian because I read bible on my channel and pretend I’m Christian.
The thing is, I’m probably going to hell, because my God is money, Jesus Christ is just enemy or something to me. IDK 🤷♂️
