I got some 4 lb line from Wish that was pink and could not catch anything for 2 days. Everyone around me was doing fine, but nothing for me. Took the pink line off and started catching again
For many many years (since 1989), I've used only the Moss Green Trilene line because it's less visible in the water. I moved 2 years ago to a completely different area, and the area I live in now apparently prefers clear line over the Moss Green. For my Crappie fishing and finesse bass fishing, I typically use the hi-visibility Mr. Crappie line which comes in up to 10# test. I don't seem to miss any fish (for the most part) and it definitely shows those light hits you typically get during finesse fishing. I haven't even thought of trying the red or orange line since what I use tends to work for me. I have used the solar line from Trilene for catfish that works, but I always have a clear or Moss Green leader when catfishing. You can really see the line move and twitch much better before it's strong enough to move the rod or ring that bell. Thanx for sharing. Love your videos.
Lojo maybe its time to call in the googans for a catfish competition and get rid of some of thoes smaller cats and have a big catch and cook on the ranch with the googans
I bought several1.5m telescopic rods and it's one of my favorites fishing rods. I have 6 of them all with 1000 size spinning reels and 8lb Trilene XT mono line. I caught my personal best 12.4 pound channel catfish about 2 months ago and that little 1.5m telescopic rod handled it like a champ.
I have a kastking reel that is a lot like that one. Curved spool part and loose handle. I think the curve is by design. Not sure why, but it works. For the handle, I don’t remember what I did but I eventually tightened it and it was fixed, but I thought both things were broken when it first arrived.

@@coopermcdonald5882 ok so he rides the thing down the hill with no gas in it to the pond just to walk back up the hill to get the gas then walks all the way back to the pond to put gas in it to ride back up the hill to the house. Yeah makes so much sense now lmao

The handle is meant to be made stationary or curved. You had to press in on handle and hold at desired position while tightening.
