My favorite lyric in this is: "I'll just stick to the facts, I dropped my golden axe" because it really summarises the ideas found in this song in a neat and concise package.

@@seiyu543 In original Romeo and Juliet story, Romeo was to be banished away from Verona aka away from Juliet. He said having been banished was equivalent to having his head cut off with golden axe, making it sounds as if banishment (golden axe) is better than being killed (regular axe) despite in both scenario, you'd die anyway. He said that cuz being away from Juliet is akin to death to him. Being banished is just a 'kinder' way to kill his heart off. Basically, to him him banished/golden axe (sugercoated killing) is the same as being killed/regular axe (killing).
Personally, i think if used in this song's context, losing/dropping golden axe is more or less deciding to drop off her 'damsel in distress' attitude she had it whole song; she had enough sugarcoating/acting sly/ metaphorical (basically the entire song before this phrase and the final chorus after that was the same dang thing, before chorus : fairy tale metaphors aka golden axe, after chorus : the same thing but without too much metaphors and almost losing her shit) and want to get straight to what she actually wanted the entire singing: escape. 'Golden axe' in my view is the same as 'being subtle' despite in the end, as a "fact"; she couldn't care less she's Juliet or Cinderella. She simply wants to run away from her parents to be with her 'Romeo'.
It's like spending a month hinting to your boyfriend what you want for christmas, he's a dense dumbass, and you decided to drop the 'golden axe' and just told him anyway last minute
It's up to your interpretation though, I'll just drop by to let you know the base gist of it. Cuz at first, I thought Doriko just randomly put a golden axe in the lyrics for no reason 😂 this is what i think, might got sumthing wrong
In the original Lyric in JP its "It's better to be honest right? The one l dropped is the Golden axe!" Honestly its probably referring to the "Which Axe did you drop" story.

Felt nostalgic for Romeo and Cinderalla and watched this. I'm surprised people were like "OMG 😱🫣 SO SEXUAL..." when it's really not? Like yes, it describes sex between the singer and her lover, but its not that explicit at all. And it's also about how desperately she loves them and how the intimacy is new to her and how their love is forbidden, or at least not approved of. She's being kept from them but they meet in secret or she waits for them to "rescue" her. I guess we were all young and surprised by it at the time lol.

TBH, I've been falling out of the Vocaloid fandom. 2 years ago, my laptop crashed and I lost 5 years of data I acquired for making MMD animations. It was devastating for me. After that incident, I slowly stopped looking up dances, listening to the music, and being involved, and then I stopped entirely. I have Miku posters in my room, but they started to lose meaning to me too. I'm not sure what got me to click on your video Rachie, but I'm glad I did. I even tried to sing it on Smule around that time, but... I sucked and had to be very, very quiet! So a few months back I felt love at first sight with a guy, that time being the only time I saw him, but it was a very quick moment so I did not get to know him well. Well my mom and his mom worked together and he is going into 10 and I am going into 9th so this would be the first time in forever that I got to see him again even if it was not for long, so I been getting hyped up about it just to find out he is miving far away and I may never get to see him again, and I am just hoping we can get closer before that happens..
