- My First Time Watching Wonka (2023 Movie Reaction & Commentary) was a blast. I loved the music in this movie along with Timothee Chalamet's Wonka ;) . Reacting to the Wonka movie was so fun, I couldn't stop laughing at the craziness that is this movie and the innuendo's Wonka's chocolate brought to my mind. This movie actually had a lot of references to the original film "Willy Wonka in the Chocolate Factory" from 1971 with Gene Wilder in the role. I actually prefer that one over the Johnny Depp version. You can check that movie out too and even react to it if you like.

This might be the worst movie I’ve ever seen nope strike that Peter Pan and Wendy is the worst movie I’ve ever seen so this is easily second. The Johnny Depp version was cringe worthy Wonka makes the Johnny Depp version look Oscar worthy. I can’t believe the Director after all the cuts and editing thought this was a movie that should actually be released to the public. Gene Wilder is rolling over in his grave…ridiculous…

you know the writer of the og story hates the Gene Wilder version and said that the Johnny Depp version is much more accurate to the character.
