Its actually nice to see the legacy of older grps live on actually. I am only a k-pop fan for 5 yrs so it took me some digging to reach till 2nd gen artists and older ones . So artist like jungkook mentioning an older song may seem insignificant but it introduces a whole new set of fans to older music and films that they wouldn't otherwise know. So in a way 2 nd gen and other older artist legacy live live through the newer generation.
I'm an army, liked the jungkook version of Mirotic. So many idols covered Mirotic But no one can be better than the Mirotic Kings (ot5) themselves i.e. TVXQ.

However, as a fan of Kpop since the 2nd gen & someone who has experienced the era of TVXQ, I find it challenging to fully appreciate it when sung by other artists. Despite the fact that "Mirotic" continues to be covered by numerous idols, I simply do not resonate with those versions. My preference will always lean towards the original by TVXQ. This is not meant to be negative or any disrespect, but rather a personal opinion & sentiment. & fans who were present during that time can understand this feeling. Jungkook voice is so stable but this high note is not suitable for his head voice which is too soft. But still, no one can replace Changmin. The best result idol ever sang this notes are just Baekhyun Exo and Ki hyun Monsta X.
