For me the two worst are that they are an excuse for folk to stop watching or indeed to not start watching and also they make people think that you're making money when you're not even monetised. I actually do not care so much about this, I just hope the people who come your channel ( and mine) can enjoy what we share: music is always good and benefit to all when played with the heart. It is worth looking at old videos of a group called Pomplamoose whose leader, Jack Conte, actually came up with the idea of Patreon where artists can get funding from whoever wants to give it. The title is a joke really. Lots of vloggers and uploaders have extra content on Patreon and some just say if you like their stuff to 'buy them a coffee on Patreon'. I don't have Patreon. Not much of a joke at all 😄 All that you say about music is true of course but UA-cam is all I have really so I don't want to do too much and drive people crazy. I can get to 200 views from 1 week to 4 weeks and it seems like a sensible figure to allow me to upload 20ish videos a year. Your videos are much more professional than mine so you could do more if you wanted. Enjoy your coffee and 'thanks' again 😊

Oh no, I am not at all better than you with my videos recording: you cannot imagine, sometimes it takes me an hours until I have an image ( and than also the sound is not always with, héhé). I don't know how arrange a video...I am just terrible when it comes to 'technology' ( my son makes my tickets reservations when I travel and I often need his help for my mobile phone. Of course with my friend Ton it was so much easier, he did everything. Ok, Paul, if you allow me, I would give you a piece of advice ( but you have to do the way you like, of course). When people come to watch a video they first look at the time ( how long it lasts). I am honest, you are the only I watch even when it is 8 or 9 minutes, as I love your improvisation ( really), but for others, if a song is over 5 or 6 mns I skeep it . Why? Because I have friends I follow, like you, for the pleasure of listening a new way of a cover etc. As you know, it takes time to watch+ sometimes add a comment. But a song is a song, some are short, some long. What I try to say is: I believe that if you make your videos just a little shorter, maybe ( as say maybe) more people will push the bottom and watch. I you disapprove , just forget about it. UA-cam is great, for us: when we were you we did not have this chance.....I had to skeep the orphenage ( it was very risky if I am been caught, they would send me to a special place....) the night I went to see Led Zeppeling....and now I just push the button and I can see them on the screen, héhé. Vive le progrès ...for this. One day I will be tired of this ( watching friends, writing comments and answering them too), but for now I said to my wife that I enjoy it. I just slow down, from a video every 3 weeks I do now one every 6 or even 7 weeks. ( except for the last one as Ton wanted we share it now. I also probably talk too much nonsense but it is too late to stop that now 🤣 To me your videos seem very calm and soothing but mine are a replacement for me for being in a band and playing in clubs and pubs etc, like I did in the '70s,' '80s and some of the '90s. Lots of mistakes, some fun and some talking. I will probably never really be able to control the length of my videos but I do understand and appreciate what you say.
