- This video describes the second part of my crossing of the North Atlantic from Horta/Azores to Portimão/Portugal, in convoy with the yacht LILY. Our buddy boat TANGAROA, which sailed together with us the first part from the Caribbean to the Azores, does not continue to Portugal but sails north towards northern France.

Vielen Dank für dein Video! Das war ein sehr toller Tipp, den du hattest. Für mich steht es fest, ich werde so was auch machen! Vor allem, dass mit dem 3 Segelboot im Konvoi hat mir sehr gefallen. Alleine weiss ich nicht, ob ich so was machen würde. Ich wünsche Dir immer eine Handbreit Wasser unter dem Kiel! Gruss aus Grömitz von Andy
Hallo Andy, vielen Dank für Deinen Kommentar. Das mit den 3 Schiffen hat sich ja erst 2 Tage vor der Abfahrt so ergeben, aber es war eine bessere Lösung als ganz alleine zu fahren. Fair winds!
Wieder ein sehr schöner Bericht. Umso mehr freuen wir uns, mit euch zwei Buddybooten weiter unterwegs sein zu können. Wenn auch gerade nur als Ballast an Bord 😂🍻⛵️

Was mir gefällt, "ein ehrlicher Bericht" , es hat Freude gemacht dir zu folgen. Eine Geschichte wie SY Tangaroa, steckt man nicht so einfach weg wenn man selbst noch unterwegs ist. --Das sind eigene Erfahrungen-- Gruß Burkhard
Hallo Burkhard, Danke für das Lob! Es stimmt, dieses Ereignis prägt einen. Das Wichtigste ist natürlich, dass den beiden nichts passiert ist. "Nur" materieller Schaden. Aber auf der Tour von 1200sm bis Brest kann man auch kaum bessere Vorkehrungen treffen, als sie getroffen haben. Die Ursache ist nicht geklärt worden.
