Build looks fun, but I think I'll stick with the 7/8x Heavy M-Las Hellbringer. Just something fun about risking it all to bring that amount of firepower, plus it's fitting to the name when you can melt yourself in a single salvo like the DireStar days.
Less of a scalpel and more of a micro-uzi I'd say. Shows up out of nowhere, blasts the shit out of things but needs a short time to prepare again after.
@baradul I’m happy you explored the B-lanner again, as it’s an underrated mech but has its place. It’s a great mech to drop in scout missions as a full lance of B-lanner with a load of smalls and micros. Metal Husar approves of your build :) as it’s one of my fav mechs to pilot
I find it interesting how on tabletop, when you compare heavy and er lasers, the heavy lasers biggest draw is putting greater damage on each individual component you hit, in exchange for being less heat efficient (when you take accuracy and range into account). In other words they're a pinpoint weapon, but in MWO the opposite is true, they splash the damage more but in exchange they are cooler. (In both games of course they also have better damage per ton)
Since you're playing at close range with the ER Micros and you've already put so many points into Sensors, would it not be worth taking three points from somewhere and getting Seismic +200?
It's risky and toasty but lots of fun. I run my COM-TDK with the following loadout:XL-225, 1 DHS in the left torso, FF armor and endo-structure, and I sacrifice a little head armor and leg armor to make it work. Skill tree: laser vomit and some range, heat-gen and cool-down. Left side speed tweak to the bottom. Almost max-out operations for cool run, radar derp 4x and double cool shot with cooldown and a UAV.

I can delete my text now. :D
Just saw yours in time.
tha
yay, alpha strike is 54.4 kph!
straight angle boils at 90ºC !!!
That first match was so crazy, your team was hyper aggressive and were smart about it too!
I spent far too long looking at the thumbnail and trying to figure out what an ‘East Laser’ was.
Your response to the stealth Atlas was great.
I love the sound of the lasers
I saw the atlas and i instantly had flashbacks to the days of the 'Spooky atlas'. Stealth brawl atlas with the skeleton camo pattern.

I love the black lanner so much. After about a week into the game it and the Cougar have just stolen my heart
Ok I want to see a stealth Atlas build now. lol.
hrm....something like LFE350, 3xMRM10w2T, 2xERML, GRw3T, 6xDHS, TC1
Baradul playing a scalpel and not a Broadsword? Great to se. Great mech thy.

Put this man in timeout!!! (My MOTHER was in that mech!)
We must talk about: WAAAARRCRIMES :D
Hey, Baradul showcasing a build I'd discovered on my own?? Feels like some form of validation that I can build a decent mech.
I dont think I've ever seen mechs move so fast
That catapult at 3:30 onwards does not mean XL. Can easily do that build on a LE.
TK and the pilot skill still goes up =D

Reminds me of the Viper but with some actual weight to it.
Shayd Green yes the viper is another great mech I ran it with 4 h meds lasers and 4 lmgs
I personally prefer the 4 heavy medium and 4 machine gun build. Heavy mg for damage or light mg for ranged crits

Laser master race.
my honor to fight by your side!

The Blanner is horrible on paper but it's actually one of the, if not THE best knife fighter in the game.
3:57 I see your strategy...
Wow, crotch shots - team kills - having issues today are we?
Wow, that's efficiency, got a kill with only 17 damage. And all of that wasn't on that one target, you grazed a few people in that wild melee.
Yay! right on time... now I have something to watch with breakfast :)
haahah, thats funny. i was theory crafting a version of this using ER smalls instead of ER micros on sunday.
Ah!! Baradul strikes again! The war crime leader!
Hey Baradul, was ist den diese Ghostheat?
Lanner is a tough one to play... Especially when you are guilty of war crimes
huh... this is pretty much exactly how i run my lanner.
"United Nations, open up!"
Stealth atlas best atlas
I once got a TK with only 3 points of team damage. :T
I have gotten team kills with 1 pt of team damage..
No worries. I tk quite a bit with catm36. You have to make sure your line of fire is clear or a team mate will walk into it.
A Death's Knell with four MPLs?
How is that supposed to be viable?

Baradul strikes again! lmao
You always seem to play at a time when there's vocal players coordinating.
Lol well that is what happens when you get greedy for damage xD
ComGuard would like to have a word with you on your war crimes, sir...
You don't have eviden....oh, wait...
Thumbs up for the war crimes!
Chairadul wouldn't have killed that teammate.
