Also, when I saw the part, I was surprised that it was you who edited them because you have improved crazy much since the last edit, I saw! I’M PROUD OF YOU!! Your scene selection was lovely and all the elements you added worked so well together like the flowers, the glitter overlay and text. You used text in every scene yet it wasn’t overpowering or “too much” - it was perfectly used and places in a simple yet colorful and balancing order! Hi Teresa, thank you for joining this birthday mep! I love how you used Mona for your part, I feel like Mona has become a thing for me thanks to you xD It’s no secret that I love her design since she’s full of astrological symbols! It’s been years and Mona still hasn’t come home no matter how many times I pull... She certainly is making sure that I need to “earn” her. I love that you used glitter and star elements in your parts and how you did movements scene at the very last part. It reminds me of the older editing days and I actually remember the first (and probably last time) I used that effect, although it’s such a nice and unique way of transitioning between scenes! OMG RISSI!!! I absolutely adore your part, especially since you used these two precious babies💖 I hardly ever see them anywhere anymore so it’s really refreshing! I have to rewatch the anime again sometime, it’s been over 10 years (gosh we’re old..) They’ve always belonged to my favorite and will forever hold a special place in my heart, for many reasons, among them being comfort characters growing up so I’m really grateful you used them!💫 And fun fact; I never read the manga!! Yes, another one of my favorites in which I have not read their manga (like last year with InuXBokuSS). I know it’s long overdue, but I’ll make sure to do that! I wonder if there are any differences between the manga and anime?
But back to your part: aside from the nostalgia factor from Shugo Chara, you also gave me that with your editing!💖Idk if you’ll get what I mean but you incorporated the old editing style in a modern, more advanced and “clearner” way (if that makes sense?), especially at “anytime of day” (0:16) or “I’ll be your distraction” at (0:17-0:18). In case it’s still not clear what I mean (and if you want) I can look up an example and send it to you later xD The panels you choose and the colors look so nice together and that’s an advantage you have with mmv editing because they’ll always fit every color you choose! I’ve rewatched this mep like probably a million times by now and I literally just now, while writing this comment, realized that the colorscheme literally represents these two (blue: ikuto - pink: amu) - glad to know my brain is doing such a good job at realizing obvious things so quickly :’)) PS. I LIVE FOR IKUTO’S SMIRK AND THEIR KISS IN THE MANGA!!! If only they would animate the whole anime (but please in their old style and not some modern-take-cutesy-look)
