For all the negative comments.... Josh has played on more Gospel CD's then y'all ever will!!! For the TOP gospel artist in the industry and also for secular artist SO I doubt if he cares what you think about him being busy or not!!! Just perfect your gift how about that!
U buggin, son! Josh is Most certainly one of the REALEST!!! He's got CRAZY chops, he's clean, and creative. In this video, he's just keepin it in the pocket which also shows his discipline.

I'm a gospel drummer...I've played in one of the greastest churches in B-More for about 10 years...And everyone Knew me not by my chops but my pocket...Didn't really care about what people thought about it....and got much respect for being a pocket drummer...Don't get it swisted I got licks..It's ok to let a song breathe.
People are known more on how they can hold a pocket or groove thats what makes them sick not on how many chops or licks they can do. Even when can play a straight pocket and no chops at all the whole song thats where the money comes. @hduece78 i agree so much..nowadays so many drummers coming up have holes in their pockets because they cant hold a groove a pocket. Think about it a pocket is where you keep your money so why not keep money your pocket? (shrug shoulders) some players i guess like loosing money.
I've been playing since I was 3 in a church and chops are not what make a drummer.. the groove and keeping the pocket is.. done get me wrong, I have licks for days but I was taught to keep the pocket and when the drummer gets some.. show out then bring it back.
