Very, very beautiful and inspirational! Please make more videos with and without narrative.I’d never take it on the road and would display it on my wall!
Hi😊 May I know, what base colour did you use after the primer? Is it silver? And, is it compulsory to do base colour? Can I just do the marble effect directly on the primer coating?
Hi there, this was actually a very light green base. A white base helps with making the colours pop, but I wanted to make sure it was tinted slightly green to make sure there wasn't any pure white showing through. And it's no problem to put the effect straight onto the primer, you just have to be aware that the colour of the primer will show through in spots.
There are 3 layers over the green sponge effect, which is flatted back with p600, then the black logos are applied, 3 more layers over that and then flat and polished
Good lord! Do you have any DIY tips for applying lacquer? I want to lacquer my first paint job but heard it’s nasty stuff. Is painting it on by brush an option?
@@stevenjones5602 unfortunately brushing it on isn't really a option. As for applying clearcoat, it's really not a good idea to use it without proper equipment (spraybooth and respirator) but if you are going to do it then make sure to wear a respirator and do it outside
What a piece of art. 👏
Thanks! Stoked you like it!
beautiful! One day, when I can afford it, I would love my trek remedy 9.8 custom painted

That turned out supergreat. I would personaly leave the linkage in one colour ,like bronze or gold.
Send us your bike to be painted and we'll do it exactly how you want 😉
@@flatwhitepaintworks i paint bikes myself so I dont have to do that, sorry. Just a comment from a bikepainter to another.
Ah ok, no worries!
Gostei 🔥🔥 sucesso 👏👏
Looks amazing. Did you do a single clear coat to seal the colour before logos, or logos directly on colour then clear together?
Thanks! The sponge effect leaves a pretty rough surface, so you have to clearcoat and then sand that flat before you can apply any logos

Amazing! How many layers of lacquer do you put on at the end before buffing/polishing?
