Dododo___ DodododoDOdodo As long as you recognize it I think in my opinion that's enough Making things mainstream over saturates and people tend to lose the meaning because of th "trend" some things are worth keeping to yourself
Ushio Okazaki I think your rignt because this has a happy place In my heart that nobody can understand. I've showed it to a friend and they just don't feel the same way. I can't let them ruin it
Dododo___ DodododoDOdodo to be honest, it fails the three episode challenge and badly, but it's in my top 15 and is to date the only anime series to make me cry (not counting movies like Grave of the Fireflies)
I'm sorry but this isn't one of those anime you'd consider as underrated... this anime was very much well loved and appreciated during it's time and it's because of this anime we had the adaptation of Air, Clannad, Little Busters, and all of Key's other works through the years... the anime was a proponent to the visual novel adaptation boom in the early to mid 2000's...
this song never fails to give me the mental image of falling snow, like in the beginning of the show. i really like that. what a gentle and graceful song.
The tune for Last Regrets :') I'm feeling the Key's magical formula already. This will be the last Key work I watch before Refrain...and then I'm out of Key anime to watch. I'm excited for this.
I'm planning on rewatching/reading what I can from Key in release order of the original work. Starting with this track from Kanon already brings back so many memories. I want to remember the things that make Key's work so great, like the recurring supernatural themes and the different experiences of loss. Also that feeling of teetering over reality vs fantasy they love to do also. It's what keeps me coming back to experience it again.
Its been years so those comments seem to be lost but I just want to say you're right, both shows are amazing and touching. I recently finished Clannad's anime and the small crossover during Yukine's arc is what sent me down the rabbit hole to discover and watch Kanon. (and thus why I'm going through the soundtrack) I'm very thankful and glad that both series ended on miracles.
I have no idea why, but this sounds like it would fit an apocalypse/cataclysm scene just beautifully. There's something about it for me. Just try to imagine the ending of Evangelion 2, Madoka even the end of the world from Majora's Mask. It just sounds like it would fit perfectly.
For some reason I always come back when something drastic changes... And it doesn't sit well with me... It's such a beautiful melody and it's so beautiful...
@LunarIce indeed. i cant listen to this without this sort of bittersweet and melancholic feeling and tears building up in my eyes. but always with a slight smile.
Found the anime on VRV a couple years ago, which I would later get on DVD that same year. I eventually got around to playing the visual novel and I honestly love them both.
This is engraved in my skull bc I decided to read this in a language other than my native tongue for learning purposes so I spent legit 5 hours in the prologue scene and had this play on repeat in my ears the whole time. Not this song reminds me of all the different ways russian has to describe snow which makes sense the more I think about it
wow, youtube really messed up my name, and Kotomi is just my favourite character, for who knows reasons, but yeah parts like that are still sad and can make you cry, but I just didnt, I watched Clannad a long time ago if I was to rewatch it, I probably will.
This is, by far, one of THE MOST underrated animes ever. It really doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
Dododo___ DodododoDOdodo it's one of my favorites

How funny that even in a video for Kanon, people still comment about Clannad. I guess that just shows how amazing and touching it is :)

アップありがとうございます。
十代の頃家族三人でKANONのサウンドトラック聞きながら寝たのを思い出しました。

This will definitely match with the starting sequence of Nier
i love the piano part to 1:20 to 1:42 SPOLEIR: this OST always reminds me the part when ayu and yuuichi kissed.
Fuck you now I’m gonna kill myself
I knew that I’m going to love this series the second this song started playing at the first scene
For some reason I always come back when something drastic changes... And it doesn't sit well with me... It's such a beautiful melody and it's so beautiful...
Been like 10 years since I watched the anime.
Still can’t get over Makoto (fox girl). Hers was a tragic ending.
it makes you want to fly like their is no limit of how high you can go you can go
Such a beautifull song for such a wonderfull anime...
I love both Kanon and Clannad, Clannad had a bigger impact on me BUT Kanon I find more enjoyable to rewatch.
@LunarIce indeed. i cant listen to this without this sort of bittersweet and melancholic feeling and tears building up in my eyes. but always with a slight smile.
The music slowly builds up with your tears ;-;
I love keys work..
"Arigato.... "It's on the base of opening. I always sing the opening when I hear this tune.
One of those animes that I just want to watch forever... rewatching doesn't help me feelings. Only more of Key's work helps a little bit.
this is one of my favourite kannon music
El mejor ost :')
当時あんなにハマったのに、サムネのキャラ数名思い出せなくて驚愕した。記憶って消えていくんだな・・・
でも、この曲を聴きにきてるってことはKanonを好きだったって事はいつまでも忘れないんだね

The best and saddest soundtrack for this show love kanon and clannad haven't seen air
After playing the game, try not to cry again when listening to this music.
love this song
my absolutely fav. theme of kanon..! xP

That's the tune what I am looking for!
I keep remembering that episode where they hinted Ayu was already dead every time I listen to this track.
She's not, really.
so emotional :*(. I am guy that so stubborn to cry but kanon just had me crying and crying :(
This is so sweet ^^
air was still sad but it doesnt even come close to compare to kanon and clannad they make me cry every time T.T
Fr Key knows how to make a good Visual Novel game like Kanon and the anime is also good too
*ring ring*
Makoto, it's your turn! ring ring!
makoto don't sleep..
これ聞くだけで涙腺が( இ﹏இ )
Clannads story about his dad was the sadest to me
Греющая тело и душу музыка)
@Mii489 Ironic statement, given that the title means "What comes after the dream".
really really nice!!!
I think that moment in the sunflower field on Clannad was the tearbringer for me.
this song makes me want to paint the wall with my own brains
爆発力ヤバい
i think i know what you are hearing. its played with an electric piano but yeah. i think its meant to emulate a violin or similar sting instrument.
Este tema es mi debilidad uu

@MsShootingforthestar Sounds like the Icarus legend. Remember the sun this time.
0:21 straight up boutta go into Nagisa/Dango Daikazoku

true. Pianos now a days do have intrument settings.
@neokai82 Pardon, i meant "traces of a dream". Got the kanji wrong.
there is. It's in the background not the melody. It doesn't do much but it's there
Both games are made by the same company, KEY.
@litalela God : "Go ahead, but if you choose the wrong path, I'm so gonna game over you!"
Creo que la mitad de la reproducciones son mías xd
for real? what about the train scene with youknowwho (not going into details for spoiler)
:')
I wanna see more animes like that... but not AIR or Angel beats!
