Drawing Super Mario | Artology

In this video, I’ll be taking you through my process of drawing Mario from the Super Mario Bros Movie poster using coloured pencils. From the initial outline to the finished piece, this video will give you a glimpse into my techniques and process for creating realistic drawings.
The entire drawing took approximately 12 hours to complete.
To help you replicate this drawing, I've listed all the materials I've used for this artwork below. By following along with the techniques and using similar materials, you'll be able to create your own version of Super Mario and improve your coloured pencil drawing skills.

Great drawing. I like the way you use the natural grain of the pencils to simulate the thread of the denim. I recently drew Mario and it's surprisingly easy to pull off. I didn't think of using a knife for finer details. I will try that technique in future.
