The end result of sprouted wheat is a yummy healthy fiber-rich snack and sprouted flour that you can use for any recipe. Let's see how to make wheat sprouts and sprouted wheat flour-cum-atta.
Sprouting whole wheat is easy and sprouted flour is easy to digest as well. It is more nutritious and easier to absorb for the body.
Here's how to make sprouted wheat flour at home
Wash the grain and soak overnight in water.
Next day discard water and tie the grain in a cloth.
Hang the cloth in a corner for 6-7 hours.
After 6 hours, check the grain and sprinkle water, ensuring the cloth gets wet too.
Hang it again for another 6-7 hours.
The sprouts should have started coming after 6-7 hours.
Again, sprinkle water and hang it for another 6 hours.
Check to see if sprouts are growing well.
When your sprouts are ready, you can jump-start the process of making sprouted flour.
How to make sprouted flour?
Spread whole wheat sprouts on a cotton cloth to dry under the fan or in the sun.
Once dried, dry roast the sprouts and allow them to cool down. Dry roasting is optional. If the sprouts dry in the sun fully, you do not need to dry roast them, though roasting releases immense flavors in sprouted grains.
You can enjoy crunchy bites now or choose to turn sprouts into flour.
Your sprouted wheat flour is ready, which is more nutritious, sweet, and flavorful.

No dear.. Wheat will take at least two days to sprout since it has a hard cover.. Ragi sprouts in one day

You may even use a colander or kitchen basket for sprouting. Nowadays I don't use the cloth method rather opt for a colander for this purpose. I have shown that in mung sprouts video.
