    the angular quantum number can also be called Azimuthal quantum number. For anyone studying for mcats and things like that, I'm pretty sure that is the word used

    I swear by god, it took 3 hours for the professor to explain this in class and I never understood it. 12 minutes on here, and I got it. Understood. College is truly just for the credential.

    I'm getting the feeling that teachers either don't understand the material they are teaching or purposefully holding back because they know there are videos out there that will do their job for them.

      Shrey Butle well that or they just don’t know what their students know and don’t. Like they just assume that we understand it, because they’ve heard it like a thousand times. That differentiates teachers, it’s either they understand their students or don’t.

    I watched this when I was a sophomore in general chemistry. As a junior in AP chem I finally found it, thank God. Same teacher from last year and barely just glazed over it.

    the kaplan book says that (l) is the shape and number of subshells- is this synonymous with the shape of the orbital since the orbital is made up of these subshells? Like are these two different ways of saying the same thing..

    As in classical bohr model one atom can have more than one orbits (like carbon has 2 orbits )...so in quantum model does a atom has such thing or it has only one value of n (like n= either 1 or 2 or 3 but not n=1,2,3...)...pls help😣😐😭😓😦
